Interesting. And the fact that it is #1 doesn't mean anything bc competition could have been harder. So it's exactly the same. Even more interesting.. But she really did actually outsell Madonna. If SPS didn't exist today then those who streamed the album would have bought it making pure album sales much much larger. Let's not even begin with illegal downloads. Interesting.
doppelganger 3,865
This far surpasses my expectations considering Joanne has no hit single. So proud!
migamiga 12,101
If it really does turn out to be 199k, it'll be as aggravating as getting a 89% b+
Doncho 27,241
Lol at some of you saying "little promo" when she was on both SNL and Carpool Karaoke, two of the most important shows in the US

Lion Heart 15,041
Hoping we can at least touch the 200K threshold. ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀
Gagaloo911 12,959
That is so aggravating that it's just 1k away from 200k! I'm still so happy for Gaga and proud of this achievement! She deserves all this success and more. And the second highest debut by a female artist this year. Slay! AND ALL WITHOUT A HIT to sell the album! It literally sold on just her name alone. Proof that Gaga is a force to be reckoned with.
S0436 10,215
It's not official until Billboard announce it. Certainly we know it's #1 though.

S0436 10,215
Yes I remember people saying if MR is well received that minimum of 100k. 100k more on top of that...
