LOVE Game peaked at #2 in my Country and Paparazzi at #3

Paparazzi was a single overseas while LoveGame was a single in the US/Canada. They then swapped. They weren't both singles in the same regions at the same time.

To be honest i am surprised they haven't release both as singles with videos yet. Gaga wants a different approach for this album, this would be one way of doing it. Million Reasons is a song which everyone seems to love. And once the inevitable dance remixes come out it will slay.A-YO is a song with big potential too.

Ayo + Million Reasons double singles, then John Wayne / Dancing In Circles double singles, then Hey Girl / Angel Down double singles at the Grammys, perform all of those + Bad Romance, Just Dance, Poker Face, Born This Way and The Edge of Glory at The SuperBowl then drop ARTPOP Act II and Tour pre-sale after the event.

But i didnt become a huge fan till paparazzi became a hit so, that swap was before my famdom

Yeah both songs fit together  represent the album well. Both need videos and performances. And europe needs to focus on MR, that's the song radios will play there.

I have no idea how singles work on the radio. If the point of releasing two singles was so that two singles could be heard, then yes, release them both. But it's evidently merchandising and advertising and competition and etc.etc.etc.etc... If I were in charge of radio, entire albums would be released. Oh wait, that's called the Demise of Radio. Thank you Internet!!! F*** you Radio!

I think AYO needs to be a single to reach its potential to be a massive hit. Millions Reasons doesnt have too. It would be a Gaga classic.

If handled well, an era can actually do that. literally  

 

Thriller had 8 singles from 9 album tracks I believe

Janet released 8 singles back in the days and EVERY one of them ended up being huge hits.

Shania released 12 singles from an album of 16 tracks. (She releases 8 singles from an album usually )

The thing is Interscope won't allow her if one singles flops inbetween  

 

Taylor keeps releasing singles even if one flops in the middle.

All 3 of her singles are inching up on Itunes. Million is now #4 (closer needs to stop being closer and just get very far away). AYO just moved up one notch to 12, and Perfect Illusion is on its own upward trajectory.

I think A-Yo will be like You & I, where it does better within the US. MR could potentially be big both in and outside the US, especially during this climate.
