If she does or doesn't, as a person who loves her music I'd rather her come back Oct 2017, I need to miss her and feel thirsty for her music. 1989 was so good, too good for its own good,  couldn't get enough of the album for 2 years , she had two singles out this year and won album of the year grammy, she needs a break. Even if TS6 is out next week, it's hard to neglect the fact that her overexposure and 1989's longevity won't spoil it, I know this has nothing to do with the music but when Rihanna put out albums back to back, it took from the album's worth in a sense cause it made it seem like the albums exist for the sake of pushing out hit singles, you could tell the formula was 1-3 hit tracks+ rushed filler tracks, non-cohesive album overall. Hope Taylor handles TS6 well, especially after 1989's acclaim or else it can go down south for her real fast.

I agree with the fact that she can come back later :nails: I think during her 'break' she had too much tabloid exposure too (with relationships and Kimye drama), and she just recently performed too, so not really a break lol. I don't think she'll mess up putting out TS6, she's a good businesswoman aside from the music :diane:

I like Taylor, like her music....but I do feel like she should wait one more year. The eras are starting to run together. You've got to make people miss you and six months isn't enough time to do that for most people.

She won't do that. I love her music, I truly do but she's all about the bling not the music.

Nah. She is very organized and driven. Plus, she hasn't hit a point of writer's block. If she was inspired for a new concept and songs, then she was. I think she has more bling than she knows what to do with. I doubt very seriously that is her motivation.

All of this is very true. I feel like she needs to wait until next year unless she wants to pull a Beyoncé and just drop an album all at once and not really promote it. Who knows tbh :madge:

Something is coming for sure. I just hope it's a greatest hits album. I know she says she doesn't like them but she's going to have to release one eventually. She's 10 years in the business now and that just has to be marked with a GH album, it allows your career some chance to breathe before the next one. I just don't think I can take another full on Taylor album at the usual time once again. The funny thing is, she herself said in that conversation with Kanye "I'm this close to overexposure right now." A GH album would allow her fans to get new music but delay her overexposure until she comes back in 2017. Then she can create controversy but competing in the same year as Katy, which we know she wants. Just not another full length studio album. She's just too stubborn for her own good. Eventually, these plans are going to backfire on her. It's just typical - just as I thought Gaga was having her album moment for the first time since TFM, Taylor comes back to haunt us. How seasonal! She's like an annoying little fly that flies back in the door just as you're a millimetre from closing it on its way out.

You call it being organised and driven, I call it being an*l. And having OCD, I should know about that. Someone who puts out albums to the strict, particular schedule she does screams "in it for the money." That's someone who sees making an album as a chore, something that needs to be done, not something that they genuinely love. Someone who genuinely works on their art as the muses move them do not churn out albums on the same month every 2 years. By keeping to such a strict schedule, your artistry will inevitably suffer, you'll view an album as just something that needs to be done, not something that you want to do. Maybe that's way Taylor writes about petty stuff like another artist 'stealing' her backup dancers because she needs something to write about every 2 years, no matter how pointless. And with people like her, too much money is never enough. They'll always want more, even if they have more than they could ever spend. I know there's a recession on and all, but Taylor takes investing to a whole new level. She's never settled with any man or had children nor does she have a huge immediate family and yet, she owns multiple houses, for crying out loud. She's always buying new places for no reason. She strikes me as someone who likes to buy expensive stuff just because she can. So, I don't doubt for a second that she partly does her job for the amazing amount of money it gives her. She's always looking for new ways to make even more of it, after all.

I'm not reading all that mess. You are obsessed and I'm not going to answer to your rants. Please quit quoting me.

There's no need to be rude. I may be "obsessed," but only because I love and follow music. I don't quote you to bring you down or anything, I do it to have a genuine discussion. I can never quote you again, ever? Even if it's not in relation to Taylor? Isn't that a bit extreme?

I NEVER see this lengthy essays on any other artists. Do you get paid WPM to type about Taylor Swift?

You type the same thing in a different outfit every time. Do you have a word document of essays just meant for new Taylor threads?

Please for the sake of all that is good and holy, please find a new hobby. Trust and believe, no body truly cares, especially her fans, the general public or even Taylor Swift herself.
