But he's what we call in spanish un mojabragas (good looking guy that teenagers love).

I call him fuccboi. :poot:

On topic: I'm kind ok with the fact that Gaga's not gonna promote in Europe anymore. It would be more painful too watch her try hard in Germany and fail anyways because Joanne is just not on the taste palette of the GeePee here. :air:

You're not wrong, it's true - I was there. :staymad:

Though one has to admit, that it was a concert, where lots of tickets were on sale on the last day, but same in Germany, Cologne if I remember correctly? I think I read some article on that "issue"...

Edit: We're talking artRave: ARTPOP Ball, right?

There were still tickets 3 weeks before the show, but there were no discounts or giveaways and the arena was full in the end. I was there :sis:

well the popularity of the show is certainly declining, so it is possible it was popular at that time in certain countries or maybe they read some articles about it or something.

Basically only stan bases use EMAs to vote for their faves on Twitter. The show gets millions of tweets every year from all over the world.

EMAs don't get good ratings but the ratings they get are very focused on the demos for pop. Next to that, it's relatively popular in the Netherlands (why else would they host it here for the second time in 4 years? :rip: ).

It probably gets about 3-5M views across Europe, which is still quite a high number and could make a song a hit across all of the continent by giving it a small push in the beginning.

how is that tragic? Austria is a small country, you cant expect artists to sell 100k copies here (well, Gaga did with The Fame)

21 sales

Austria: 20k on a 10 million population

Netherlands: 450k on a 17 million population

Austrian sales are small, even when you take into consideration the population size. Just like how Italian and Spanish sales are pretty small. Big album sales in relation to population are to be found in North-Western Europe only :classy:

Ah OK.

:lana:

The shade

And the truth omg

When I think about how small music sales are in Spain/Italy/Portugal/Greece I take a look at Eastern Europe numbers and then I'm fine. There are countries there where they don't have any official chart to check out.

I'm kinda surprised Joanne is not selling a little more in the Netherlands (I wasn't expecting it to smash btw) since people there like country/folk music. Just look at the ESC entries.

I agree that this album just won't work in some markets (which is OK), and it's better to promote where it WILL connect (UK/US/AUS/JP)

ARTPOPSYCHOLOGY

Does anyone think like me that A-YO could be a potential smash for her. After Carpool tonight, I'm hoping she does at least talk show this or next week (Ellen for daytime and maybe even Kimmel for nighttime to get the difference audiences from the GP).

She could send it to radio next week, perform it at the AMAs and release a mega video like her notorious ones. It's already #16 on iTunes and has the chance to debut in Top 50 on Billboard Hot 100.

The GP is loving it!!! And they should make her Apple Music commercial air more!!! Hopefully Ryan Murphy allows it to play during AHS & Scream QUeens too!!
