Is that strange? You would want her to promote in your country too if your radio station is still stuck on playing Love Game and Paparazzi

We already know she's going to Europe soon so I think we all need to just breathe lol

Tbh, given Interscope and Gaga's history, I just have a feeling MR wont take off as we expected. Maybe just a moderate-size hit like Y&I. I hope I'm wrong tho

If MR fell 20 positions in 1 update in the Netherlands then clearly that means it's not getting much sales anyway. So who cares if it drops completely?

Because radio still sees a clear difference between a #20 and a #40 position.

Lost all hope. Gaga would have to have a viral moment on a big promo spot here to revive her career. Radio is biased against her and hasn't played her since Born This Way. Even TEoG flopped.

Anyways: Any new Japan promo announced yet? I hope they're really there for the rest of the week. If she does Music Station or something like that I'll forgive her for snubbing the EMAs.

Yes yes but for any case if it falls quickly so much then that would be a letter irrelevant country. But good news that it was a glitch.

Besides the US & Canada (where it's discounted), The Netherlands is the main market that MR is performing the best in so far.

That's not the problem, the problem is that radio won't support. No radio = no hit. The media doesn't like her, and the only way she could fix that is to promote it. I mean, if she's visiting Germany, U.K. and France, it isn't that hard to stop in Amsterdam for a day

Notably, Gaga is the first woman to top the Artist 100 in eight months, since Adele topped the March 12 tally. Only five women have led the list since its inception: Taylor Swift, for a record 31 weeks, Adele (10), Ariana Grande, Meghan Trainor (two each) and now Gaga. (Eighteen males and eight duos or groups, all fronted by male vocalists, have topped the chart.)

Is it?

I think that might be because American influence on Dutch culture is generally quite high, which might have made Carpool more effective. Still only #200 on Spotify though :sis:

How about Switzerland though? Not a top 20 market?
