What part of the success of a song depends on the radio? Today, I think, radio represents only 30% of success. The rest consists of streammings, itunes and amazon downloads, youtube and other platforms like soundcloud. And of course, the traditional purchase of the song or single. I think you are giving too much importance to the radio. Gaga needs to do more promo. LG needs to release more videos. I am from Argentina. And here, practically nobody, who is not a fan, has heard of Gaga's new album. I have made my friends listen to the new songs and they told me that some are good, but very common. But that with a good video Gaga could be hits insured. But this Gaga is no longer the Gaga that everyone expects, and the general public is baffled by their new style.

The performances cant do more than Carpool karaoke. It will rise for a limited time and then fall again. For MR to be a succes without radio it needs a viral video. The album is doing good, especially in sales, so not there is the problem.

For Gaga, radio will make or a break a hit for her. She is not a streaming artist so she can't depend on streaming to push her up the charts and create sales. Promo is important but not sustainable in the long term.

can her illuminate friends buy all the radio-station in US and then gifted them to Gaga?

How can Gaga make a video for MR that makes the general public want to see it? Any Suggestions? I imagine the concept of video like this: LG is a deceased person in a field. She sings to her beloved. She is seen to be with him in many places. But they do not exchange words. She sees him with much love. And at the end of the video you learn that she is a spirit that is undecided whether to leave or stay. His clothes are quite ethereal. The final scene that I imagine is her kissing her beloved while he sleeps. He feels that kiss, but he wakes up and there is no one. I see a camera that rises until the sun goes down.

I think this simple video can go viral. Specially with Gaga as an actress.

that's a good concept, it just needs to be simple, visually stunning, and replayable.

re di tutto

This is karma for changing from Sla-Yo to Million Snoozes. I don't see this era going anywhere in terms of singles. Bobby has no clue how to manage a hit. And after Jimmy Iovine left Interscope, the label went to the pits. Just do the SuperBowl, tour and wrap it up.

I Canada a good market? I mean do people actually buy music there?

Canada is like good sis to US. song hit there usually hit on the US too.

I'm concerned about the radio...  what happened with the adds? is radio boycotting because that single-pull-change mess? and I thought IheartRadio stanning her looking at the PI hype  or her label Interscope choose to promote Black Beatles instead :awkney:

Right now I think I'll stanning Swiss/Canada instead :neyde:
