SLAYO is her best SNL performance I had no idea what to expect but she delivered a great performance with her best vocals yet

the stage is also AMAZING anyone else notice there was an actual mirror on the ceiling of the set :diane:

It was def one of her best SNL performances.

I'm not even crazy about the song, but it's like the "Swine" of Joanne, it was made to be heard live.

I actually wasn't a fan when I heard it at the Dive Bar but hearing the studio version again/watching her slay it live I am a stan now!

I know she hadn't performed Million Reasons when you wrote this, but after that second performance, she needs to release it as the second single. The GP will be here for that ballad tho.

It was good but I don't think it was her best. I wasn't a fan of what she did with 'Million Reasons' but I think it'll appeal to a wider audience.

What is their not to be a fan of? Million Reasons is a ballad and she sat at the piano. What did you expect her to do?

Ps- this isn't shade I genuinely want to know what you expected to happen lol

Both of the performances were her best on SNL, imo.

MR hadn't aired yet but yes!! MR has the best vocals of any SNL performance she's done

I originally didn't think it would be a good idea but I agree now- it's a gamble but it might work

Maybe she could do a double release of AYO/MR

It was perfect imo, I couldn't get into the ARTPOP performances at all but A-YO smoked me

I didn't like the way she sang it. It was done in a way to be very clean, unlike the Dive Bar versions that have showed her giving more passion in her voice. I don't like picture perfect performances. It's kinda boring for me given the fact she's doing a pop rock thing this time around.
