Gaga talking about what the fans want

This is from the Beats interview:

Interviewer: You are grateful but you aren't considering what makes them happy (the fans)

Gaga: I don't think that is a healthy way to make music. When you are thinking about others people's perspectives too much in that way like oh, what musically, do you want from me. Thats trouble, that toxic.

Interviewer: But by that nature of that statement you're so out of stip with what pop stardom kind of is. Because, you know, I am not going to name names, but there are people who, your contemporaries or otherwise, who without a doubt sit down with 50 writers and work out what is the thing (what is popular basically).

Gaga: Yeah, and I find that to be completely boring, and is a business, and its basically an algorithm that I am not interested in being a part of. That is not music to me. That is becoming a part of the system. And the more that you become a part of the system the more that you loose yourself. And you just become a robot. I just want to create things that people will never forget. I don't want to be part of the pack.

Interviewer: Is that what success is to you now? having seen what success is on a wikipedia level. You know from going from #1 singles to stadiums?

Gaga: The thing is you never know what is going to happen. When I put Just Dance out there was nothing on the radio like Just Dance.

Interviewer: True, that was the first time floor on the floor came back to America. You are pre-EDM.

Gaga: I am not going to take responsibility for that. I am just going to say that Just Dance was like nothing on the radio. Bad Romance was like nothing not he radio. Born This Way was like nothing on the radio. Applause was like nothing not he radio. Perfect Illusion was like nothing on the radio. I always say, did everybody get the memo. That is never going to be whats happening. I am whats happening. That is the message that artists should take with them.

"I am what's happening"

Love that line, even if I don't 100% agree with her. I think she has always been confident and bold -- that's why she's who she is and why we're sitting here talking about her.

And finally interesting interviews not like that mess "father's daughter chickens's egg bla bla:ladyhaha:

Well, it helped that this interviewer knew his ****. The others would keep going on about her body and basic **** like that and deliberately ask Gaga what she likes to cook. It's fine to have questions like that occasionally, but every interviewer was like that for a while.

THIS. Was SO iconic on Beats1. They opened the show with her saying that last bit and right when she said "That is never going to be what's happening. I'M what's happening." and then the beat dropped for New Level (remix) by A$AP Ferg and it was just so f**kin gangsssstttaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

She didn't say anything that wasn't true. Gaga doesn't follow trends, she starts them.

Not when the main beat of the song consists of a Drum N Bass style, when the background synths are Gregorian church chants,  when her verses sound like  David Bowie is singing, and when she is singing about loving the Applause and Jeff Koons.
