That simple black outfit is timeless, chic, and modest. The fact that this is really her only magazine cover so far this era reaffirms the narrative she is trying to create of an artist who is all about the music. I can't say I'm a fan of the laid back approach to her image she is taking (fashion, album art, ect.), but I appreciate how bold of a move it is.
