All these All Lives Matter ass replies.

It's just about Black Lives Matter and Trayvon. Stop making it about yourselves. This was written last year, please stop continuing the whitewashing of taking things meant for African Americans and trying to make it fit you.

Is about everything

How could that deaf and stupidly childish NYT writer who shall not be named write a so stupidly childish review of Joanne... even by listinening only to Angel Down he should have changed his opinion... it's the less commercial/pop/country/Gaga song on the record - and it's worth a 100 out of 100 review even by itself. It has a strong and powerful meaning, a truly inspired interpretation and a beatiful production.

He who shall not be named didn't even listened to the record imo, he jus read "Lady Gaga" and gave her a 40.

Well, I just want to say that it's still very much a political movement. The Gay Rights Movement has been pivotal to the LGBTQ community, and they're certainly fighting for political and social justice/equality.

Yes, it's biology, we were all "Born This Way", but you cannot deny it's political importance.

Yes I agree that asking for LGBTQ rights is a political movement but the song Born This Way was dedicated to gay people in general and not a certain political movement. I support the LGBTQ movement but if they had a movement that acted like BLM, I would be against that group but not gay rights. What im trying to say is me being against BLM does not equal me being against black people as BLM is a political movement with an ideology. Martin Luther King Jr and Malcolm X had two extremely different political movements at the same time and were against each other yet they were fighting for the same issue.

I guess she really is trying to distance herself from the LGBT community now, couldn't she have said it's for Orlando as well?

Da fuq? She even spoke at the even after the tragedy, how could you say that?....

She looks GORGEOUS but what is this? I thought the performance was tonight not last night? Don't tell me she wasted this look on rehearsals.

I like that it's in relation to Trayvon and societies issues towards race, gender and inequality as a whole but that reference to BLM? Keep it.

Before anyone jumps...BLM is not synonymous to racial inequality. Just like PETA isn't synonymous to animal rights as an example.  I do not support the group or its methods at all, I do however support the message.

It was a T Magazine (New York Times fashion magazine) party, she attended in that outfit, and performed on a piano.

PETA and Black Lives Matter are not comparable.

PETA is an organization. They have the same methods and ideals

BLM is a movement. It's a common interest in different people who act individually.

Okay, she agrees with the message of the BLM movement (Black Civil Rights only occurred 52 years ago), but the song is about mourning a person's death, and how people deal with and interact with others after death.

Taken from the BLM website

"This is the official #BlackLivesMatter Organisation"

They accept donations and run pretty much similar to an organisation. Albeit chapter-based.

Your post makes no difference anyway really. I don't agree with the methods they use and there's countless examples of such. I think people, especially in modern society, feel that BLM equates to racial inequality and activism. There's so many movements and organisations set-up to tackle the inequality each with their own ideology and methods. If you don't agree with ones ideology it doesn't mean you are racist or refute black people. I remember The Guardian published an article promoting BLMUK and countless black people rejected it, are they racist or do they prevent social justice? No.

I won't be made to feel like my view is of any less worth or my fight for racial equality is any less significant than yours (maybe not you personally but considering your terrible insults towards that other user) simply because I don't agree in this specific movements/organisations methods.
