Let's check Jay Z credit card

I know it's not true but it's not fair, LEMONADE is a great record. Just bc JOANNE is Gaga's album they give her shitty reviews?

Lemonade is a soild record, not her best work! But I'm sure jayz credit card is helping to keep that record in the top 10... no one in my click have that record, but somebody is buying it

Not her second best album (In my opinion) getting these reviews, he's not even reviewing the album, he's reviewing HER. Jeez.

Its about her entire family, best friend, and Joanne. Im not taking anything away from Lemonade but Joanne is way more raw overall.

Not to mention breaking up with the man she loves and was planning to spend her life with

I hate this industry so much!

She should buy the metascore like Beyonce did.

She did that?

By what metric is Joanne, an album about a relative she's never met discussed on only like two songs, more personal than Lemonde, an album a high star profile wife dealing with the devastation of her husband cheating on her and learning to forgive him?

The fact Gaga wrote the album with a small team of four or five people whereas Beyonce, according to Sia, has a "writing camp" where she goes in and out of rooms giving her feedback to people who are writing the songs for her?

I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!!

I submitted a number of emails with complaints to their editors and other departments at the NYT cause I am so offended by how they reviewed it. They could not have allowed a more biased reviewer to review it :wtf:

It's slanderous and I said that in my email and demanded for them to answer for themselves.

At least 25 more reviews are coming......let's hope better numbers! I hope Billboard, Entertainment Weekly, LA Times stan her! and Rolling Stone is going to give it a good number....

I'd like that for Gaga, but I've kinda accepted that she'll always be an underdog. These people who don't even know her are, at least partially, judging her for things other than the music itself. The reviews should be about Joanne and absolutely nothing else, but that's not what happens darlins. Critics are just as biased as everybody else with opinions. They can try to use half-decent writing to pass off their opinions as objective observations, but objectivity is simply too much to ask for from people who drag tweets into album reviews tbh. :nails:

These are all just my opinions darlins. :sis:

I agree, I could see if he did a song by song review

A critic can only review the music he or she has heard, not the music the artist heard. Artists like Gaga will always be more important than what some nobody thought of her. I will not click on the link because I am positive it is more hate, not a constructive review of her most musically-rich work to date. :fthis:

Oh well... Life Is what it is. Though remember ppl, pop/entertainment critics always gives value in review to artists themselves too, not just MUSIC. And its also with everyone else too, not just Gaga. So no conspiracy there. My honest guess is that they don't like The album...

(I cant believe I Still haven managed to listen to it myself O.o hate work..  -_-)

Beyonce and Kanye, Rap and Hip Hop stan reviewing Joanne for the NYT?
