monsterdino 31,991
So it seems like every song is produced by Ronson, Gaga and Bloodpop + 3 additional producers: Kevin Parker (Perfect Illusion), Jeff Bhasker (Diamond Heart) and Emile Haynie (Come to Mama). But what surprised me is that for Dancin' In Circles, Beck is not credited as a producer only as a writer and RedOne is also not credited as a producer on Angel Down, ik he will be credited on (Work Tape) version but I was surprised that he's not credited on the final one? Thoughts on Joanne having only 3 producers??? I'm asking this bc I remeber some of yall said I'm glad that Joanne has more producers unlike with ARTPOP when Gaga stucked only to 3 producers. I thought FJM and Beck had also worked on the production of the album P.D.: A lot of people from Ronson's world has worked on the album, it's just that they aren't credited as songwriters / producers. Example: Sean Ono Lennon playing guitar on Sinner's Prayer
Sherlock112 717
Nadir khayat and Beck Hansen produced the best songs on the album they better be credited for their work CHROMATICA BOUGHT ME BACK!

AlexanderMagno 10,746
Beck is not the producer? And Kevin Parker only produced one song still hoping they get together in the future for more. But I'm very happy that both Bloodpop and Ronson remain the main producers through the whole album. Although it sounds like Gaga had a lot, A LOT to say about production this time. djBuffoon 12,122
I thought it was great having a consistent sound running through the album. Every song truly feels like a piece of the whole. As for Beck not producing, I never expected him to. He does beautiful production on his own songs, but it wouldn't quite work with Gaga's aesthetic. In an interview, Gaga mentions she only worked with Beck for one night, where they came up with DIC hook. RedOne probably had an Angel Down version (Chaos Angel) but it was reworked by Mark Ronson and Bloodpop completely, therefore the lack of RedOne involvement in the production of Angel Down. The Angel Down WorkTape version is actually one key higher than the regular version!

But that's why it's a called a collaboration, I'm sure no one expected this sound from Gaga when she released Joanne, so really Gaga doesn't have like her own signature sound

AndrewGr 6,022
Guys RedOne didn't produce anything on the album, he co-wrote Angel Down with Gaga and then she reworked it (and produced it) with Ronson.
EGOT2027 10,894
I actually really love the approach Gaga took with the production. She worked with a decent amount of people, but every single song was mainly produced by the same person, Mark Ronson, which makes the album sound the most coherent of any of her albums in my opinion. Gaga and Mark reproduced Angel Down on their own which is why he isn't credited.
