Gaga is not known for her ballads but Joanne brings a whole new dimension to her heartwrenching downtempo world.

Which ballad is her best?

P.S: I didn't include Again Again because it would be kinda unfair. I don't consider Yoü And I, TEOG or Gypsy ballads so I didn't include them either.

Gaga's vocals in Joanne has a character and pain i've never heard from her before, it also has this warmth to it.

I melt when she sings "Girl, where do you think you're going? Where do you think you're going, going, girl"

Angel Down is brilliant, her voice also has some character that she never shown before. I voted Joanne though, it's a really brilliant and impressive song. Just beautiful.

And the guitar work is beautiful. Is this Gaga's first ballad with guitars as the foundation? I should know this answer.

I would say that "Million Reasons" is the best in terms of writing, but I had to vote for "Til It Happens to You;" it hit me hard, and the only other one that came close to making me feel similarly was "Dope," but that's still not the same.

Among the first we have heard for sure :) obviously Million Reasons is guitar based, but it's usually Gaga at the piano.

I agree so much though, they recorded those guitars so well  So often instruments don't sound like goddamn instruments haha, they just sound off this was perfectly recorded and mastered

It's still Speechless.

The others go more towards calling forth of a certain mood, at least to me.  Joanne is there as well.

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.
