Haroon 49,685
Track 11 on 'Joanne' Writers: Lady Gaga, RedOne Producers: Mark Ronson, Lady Gaga, BloodPop Lyrics: Spoiler I confess I am lost In the age of the social On our knees, take a test To be lovin' and grateful Shots were fired on the street By the church where we used to meet Angel down, angel down But the people just stood around I'm a believer, it's a trial Foolish and weaker, oh, oh, oh I'd rather save an angel down I'm a believer, it's chaos Where are our leaders? Oh, oh, oh I'd rather save an angel down Doesn't everyone belong In the arms of the sacred Why do we pretend we're wrong? Has our young courage faded? Shots were fired on the street By the church where we used to meet Angel down, angel down Why do people just stand around? I'm a believer, it's a trial Foolish and weaker, oh, oh, oh I'd rather save an angel down I'm a believer, it's chaos Where are our leaders? Oh, oh, oh I'd rather save an angel down I'm a believer, it's a trial Foolish and weaker, oh, oh, oh I'd rather save an angel down I'm a believer, it's chaos Where are our leaders? Oh, oh, oh I'd rather save an angel down Save that angel Hear that angel Catch my angel Save that angel Hear that angel Catch my angel Hear that angel Hear that angel Catch my angel Save that angel Hear that angel Catch my angel Hear that angel Catch my angel Performances: Spoiler

Creyk 16,836
Truly one of her best songs on Joanné, I love it so much Perfect use of her voice and it's so different for Gaga. I love this gentle sound from her.
Katie14 4,828
The ending sounds like a track from King of Limbs by Radiohead and I love it! Gaga would have never included that ending bit on past records because its not "commercial" but I feel like it adds a certain feeling to the song.

narcoswing 1,123
The best on Joanne! The fact that it's the first ballad from Gaga that I actually like. I'm out of words honestly.

kupo 201
I'm actually not as high on this as everybody else seems to be. The chorus melody is undeniable, but the production doesn't do it any favors, and the lyrics are too on-the-nose. Her "woe is the world" shtick works better on Come to Mama because that song keeps it cheeky, but here there's a self-seriousness that I find a little stifling. Well that's because a bad producer made it Ronson obvoiusly made the best he could with the limited amount of talent he has Don't worry the work tape version will be even better
