There was more than one camera around, the original one was the one they streamed live i think, and this is a better composition with better sound and visuals that excludes all the unflattering angles like the "iconic guitar dance in the beginning" :laughga:

it's not just her awesome :derpga: guitar dance, is just that the performance IS different, go to the original stream and see how she motions her first guitar strums and how she does it in this one, just to set 1 example. it IS a different performance.

The full recording of the 2nd show is out there somewhere :wtfga:

how come everyone likes dancing in circles? it's my least favorite song so far. i think ayo or come to mama would be the ones to choose. or diamond heart.

edit:

all i can think of in dancing in circles is her lying in bed rubbing her *** in a circle LOL D:

I don't envy the position Gaga, Interscope, and her team are in: choosing singles is hard. Because you can't ever really know what's going to click with the public. Do you take a risk on something a little out of left field? After all, you can't set a trend unless you put yourself out there. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Or do you go more conservative, and try to follow established trends and find a song that, while not surprising, clicks with the public?

If you want to try the former and be bold, sure, I can see releasing DIC. If you want to try the latter, just (finally) make Million Reasons the official second single (its staying power on itunes is already a good indication that it clicks with people in a way PI never did). DH and Johny Wayne would probably be the other choices if the latter strategy is your preference. DH actually wouldn't sound out of place on BTW with its more straight-up rock leanings, while the sampled hook that's part of the JW chorus sounds like the kind of thing radio might eat up right now.

A-yo might be the choice if you're trying to straddle these two strategies. It's a touch quirky (and unexpected from Gaga), but it's not totally out of place given certain trends on the radio (it has some funk elements that are quite popular right now).

I think it's really down to those five, though. Joanne's my favorite of the ballads, but neither it nor Angel Down sound nearly as radio-ready as MR. Hey Girl and Come to Mama aren't cut out to be singles at all, and as much as I love Sinner's Prayer, neither is it.

If I were Interscope, I'd probably ultimately roll ahead with MR (but I'd also try to get on it pretty fast--push it to radio ASAP and have her perform it on SNL). That's me trying to be an objective pragmatist. MR's initial sustainability on itunes is genuine evidence that it's working for people, and I really do think it's the song most designed for radio on the album. And I'd probably look for the sure hit rather than taking chances at this point because, well, Gaga hasn't had a genuine hit since her BTW era. (I consider Applause pretty marginal, considering it was a lead single). It's easier to pick bold singles if they're piggy-backing off of another hit.

Million reasons and then AYO or DIC

Pretty much. They would be foolish not to release MR as a single next.

It's the same outfit though :laughga: they must've combined a rehearsal footage maybe or something, I'm sure they couldn't just livestream it without any preparation. I don't believe it was two separate performances though

i was sure it was just different angles up until she removed her hat in one video and sang without removing her hat in another one :wtfga: and even then it combines back into the same performance a moment later, i'm so confused

Except she actually re-performed that concert later that night with a different crowd but added Joanne to the setlist.

Also look at her right arm while the guitar dance:derpga: happens in both videos. feel me now?

But yeah, that the video is a result of them mixing footage from both performances is a total posibility, but I just wanna state that yeah, the 2nd recording exists.

If she doesn't make DIC a single I will die and go to hell.

I'll join you and we can dance in circles around the fire together.

Sinner's Prayer wouldn't be a bad choice for a single
