For the first of your answer, I agree. That's why I called sexism is a double edged sword, I only talked about the side that was harmful to men because it was the topic in this case; I knew nothing about Zayn and this girl's relationship.

There are some sex therapists who do have sex with clients. There are even ones who do couples therapy, where they ask the permission of the wife to have sex with her husband to work out what the problem is and ensure that its been cured afterwards. Notice that it's always a female therapist dealing with males? No way would this be accepted in reverse. I don't agree with it at all, no matter how legal it is or if they get the spouse's permission. It's just way too problematic. And considering that she gets paid for her services, I don't know how it isn't considered prostitution.

This is interesting; to be honest, I've never heard of such therapists that actually have sex with or watch their patients while they have sex.

My assumption is that they are not necessarily good therapists. Psychiatrist woman I worked on this issue with worked in office clinic of a very successful psychiatrist(She was his PhD student in the past). What we did was totally professional, and I do not believe sex of any prestigious medical practitioner would be a case... I do not know how to refer to your claim about how always female therapists deal with men but reverse would not be acceptable but I personally know male psychiatrists who worked on vaginismus with female patients. But again, I never heard such method where therapist actually involves in sex physically with their patients; it sounds only as legitimate as gay conversion therapies to me.

I read the story of a woman who said that she does this kind of sex therapy. I certainly wouldn't have been down with it considering that she was quite young and good looking. I'm surprised that there are women out there who are happy to give her permission to have sex with their husbands, no matter how medical she claims it is. I'm sure those men are a bit too happy to have her "examine" them too! She said that there's a lot of women who don't appreciate what she does but the feedback she gets from the wives afterwards is always positive. She also insists that she never has any romantic interactions with her clients, it's purely a sexual experiment she carries out and she never has an affair with a client either. It's essentially a twice done thing - first time is to work out what the problem is, then the next time is to see if her advice has been taken. Then the couple stop using her services. And she's hardly doing anything freaky, it'll just be standard vaginal intercourse. But I'm still not sure about it. If you're a good therapist, you don't have to go that far. You don't need to have sex to know what the problem is or if he took the advice or not, you just need to get the wife's dilemma and eventual feedback. The therapist's experience is irrelevant, after all. As all women's bodies are different, different women can have different experiences with the same man and the therapist won't be having sex with him again, so what's the point? So, I think it's a shady practice. But when I said that female therapists only deal with men, I meant the ones who have sex with clients exclusively. But regardless, sexual therapy seems to be more of a female domain. There may be male sex therapists out there, but I've certainly never heard of any.
