I think she thought that this new direction would make the GP fall in love with her. But it backfired and now part of her fanbase has turned their back on her as well. As we get closer to the release date we see her more and more active on twitter trying to change the perception of the album being country and her persona changing. I feel like she's become complacent with her "hustle". In other words, I suspect she has realized that she's not as impactful to the GP as she has been in the past, and I think she thought she could just return without the outfits, etc and people would still be as interested. I can't help but think there must be some sort of disappointment going on for her and her team surrounding the flop of PI. Now I guess we'll just have to wait and see if they will adjust course and try harder to promote the album (and pick better singles) or if they'll just let the chips fall as they may. 🤖⚡️ Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
