Crystalline 993
Just now, A Gaga Lad said: Mess. Let's wait and see how Joanne will fare first with both sales and metacritic. That would make the answers a bit more educated and grounded. I mean I could see it being nominated but even before knowing for sure how it'll fair commercially and critically I feel like it's obvious she's not gonna do much commercially. And the Grammys have become one big popularity contest just like every other award show these days, so..

zakariah 11,718
Yeah, it'll totally get at least one Grammy nomination, most probably Best Pop Vocal Album. AOTY nominees has to have huge impact in the music industry, we have to wait & see how the ERA goes, the music is obv gonna be good, it's Gaga. Plus, the Grammys love her. ARTPOPSYCHOLOGY 6,270
This may be a controversial post that will have many monsters flagging me for being a Gaga Stan and not seeing any other music, but I actually love Adele. However, In my opinion, Born This Way should've won AOTY over 21. 21 was amazing, but conceptually the lyrics were't anything to die about, clearly Adele deserved the best pop vocal album category as her vocal were definitely better than Gaga's (although we know Gaga can definitely contend and will with Joanne). BTW was so complex and deep I could've written my psychology thesis on it. The talented musicians (Brian May, Clarence Clemons, Mutt Lange) was Sooo rare for a pop album and it truly was a breakthrough pop album. But to answer your question, I can very much see Joanne being AOTY Grammy worthy. With the acclaim of Million Reasons, she's already a lock for Best Pop Vocal Album & Best Pop Female Solo Performance nominations out of the gate. I'm unsure if Beck is releasing an album though, that would be both Awkward and rewarding for him as he would be nominated twice for his contribution to Dancin in Circles
