AlexanderMagno 10,746
Well you were banned, so I can tell you that this theory has been discussed when the video was release. But it's about social media. Yes, the music video makes you wonder if her fans are the perfect illusion, but to be fair great part of her interaction with fans is through social media so there is a connection. Ronk 14,762
Fan support has been an illusion. Fans do not support her through thick and thin. Fans do not seem to realize that artists have their ups and downs, but they remain the same person. Artists may emotionally need even more support in the bad times because they are as human as anyone else. If fans feel badly when a song or album is not well received, imagine how badly the artist must feel, and how much worse it must feel when the fans you count on for support abandon you. It reminds me of something a person said on a network news segment two days ago: "We really do have the responsibility to help one another get home." - Jason Wright I live outside the space time continuum. I couldn't imagine not supporting her through the good/bad times. As my grandpa used to say "if you want sunshine and rainbows go watch a ****ing Disney movie!!!!" Lol. I'll always be there to support her because she's always been there to support me. I wouldn't be the woman I am today without gaga. She filled the voids in my life that nobody else filled. She's been my rock for 8 years and now it's time for me to be her rock. I love you monsters. I'd be unfixably broken without you

However, I do understand those who are only there for the music, because I was there. When I was a teen I listened to the songs I liked and didn't know or care about what the artists were like as people. It was all just songs to me. But I don't understand those who are there only there for the charts, awards, and sales. I live outside the space time continuum.
Delulu Rogers 7,251
I agree but at the same time a lot of fans defended ARTPOP and stuck by her and you would think that the fans that are still here are the true, hardcore fans so if that is what PI is about it's kinda a slap in the face for the ones you are still here

I never understood why people waited hours for autographs and followed their fave artist on social media. When gaga came into my life, suddenly everything clicked. I had somebody who was there when nobody else was. I mean she gave "birth" to us in way. We were created in her image and therefore she thinks we're absolutely perfect (in that "motherly" way). To summarize her from ArtRave " I got this tattoo as a symbol of our community. I'd say I'll love you til death do us part but I'll love you long after death. I ****ing love you little monsters". petty 9,412
this actually isn't hard to believe. it'd actually make me love the song even more. but it's one of those things where even if that was the inspiration, it would never be admitted. it's too controversial and tbh she can't afford to lose the thousands of fans who have remained faithful. Sugar, spice, and everything nice.
memomemome 1,478
This era is really a filter actually. We'll see who really devotes and love gaga of the music, hearts, and person, and who just here for the bling weird costumes etc2.
Chiunzhan 997
It is about us, but knowing Gaga she Will never admit it + she knows we're good at her riddles, so she doesn't have the need to admit it neither.

She thinks every person has greatness within them and is deserving of love, kindness, and respect. I am a fan because she has good values, and spreads those values by her own example of being a good, kind person. She is very dedicated to helping people in many ways. Her gift to the world is not her music, her gift is herself. I live outside the space time continuum.
