The most underwhelming Gaga era ever?

Actually cried over this. It's a kick in the heart to see how bad this era is going. I was SO excited to see her all over the media again.. guess she really isn't "Gaga" anymore, and is now Joanne.

Lace up my boots, throw on some leather and cruise.

:( With Perfect Illusion losing (any) momentum it even had the last couple weeks, the lack of anything yesterday kind of sealed the deal.

I think it makes her seem lazy and unprofessional which I know isn't her but that's what she's making it seem like canceling all this stuff not doing any promo other then jump cut radio interviews it kind of is a bummer since we've waited 3 years for this who knows maybe when the album comes out it will get better we still have carpool karaoke which has been filmed so that's done I just hope she doesn't cancel snl like her album is coming out in 6 days and no one other than her fan base knows it's coming out

when Gaga starves us of promo, Katy offers her flop single Rice

Walk down the runway but don't puke, it's okay. You just had 10 donuts today. Without frosting.

Genuinely I believe it has the potential to be. In hindsight, even ARTPOP was more eventful and ppromising.

As messy as some of y'all say it was, we had a massive album release party with performances, red carpet, media coverage, the works. We had multiple TV appearances before the album, in the US and the UK. We had the GMA interview and video jumbatron debut. We had the performance and the massive kick start debut lead single performance.

We had Graham, Alan, two X Factor performances and a 30 minute BBC special, and this was all before ARTPOP was released.

Even the Cheek to Cheek era started off eeventfully. We had the Today Show debut Anything Goes and the album announcement, we had Strictly, The View and The Talk, we had Jimmy Fallon and we also had adverts in partnership with H&M.

And now, once the C2C era ended on a massive high, we had great hopes for LG5.

The fact it was kept so secretive and so under wraps made it even more suspenseful. We just knew something big was coming. And, well, sadly? We're 6 days away from the album, 1.5 months into the lead single era, and we're still waiting for that big something ( (I am aware of the SB, but I'm talking about for 2016, aka the year of the album release)

So far we've had:

193992 radio interviews of the same information

Canceled France promo

Canceled Graham performances and interview

Canceled X Factor peformance (still a report)

Missed opportunities at the VMAs, Apple Music Festival, Global Citizens festival, iHeartRadio festival, iHeartRadio's and Z100's Jingle Ball, the GMA concert series.

Is this officially the least eventful and most underwhelming Gaga era that's ever been? Feel free to disagree with my point, and bring your reasons to the table. I want us to discuss this. Its kinda sad for us as fans who waited for Gaga to deliver for so long. Especially because the music is shaping up to be some of her best, I just wish she made it more of an era, rather than just "hey, my single is out now, the album is on 21st October, so yeah that's it" kinda vibe, ya feel?

Idfk, maybe I'm ranting? I'm half sad and half mad :neyde:

This era is honestly so tragic. She hyped it up so much by being silent as if something big was to happen and yet here we are where the only thing that's happened is a bunch of cancelations. I don't care for chart success but where is her effort for this album? What were you doing for 3 years if it wasn't planning promo or a concept album or performances? No wonder the media says she's over. She herself acts like she's over...not even going by lady gaga anymore...

It's one of these:

1. She just doesn't give a **** about anything anymore and she's doing this album just because she had to do it (last album for Interscope)

2. Or she just lost everything, idk if she was ever this creative thing she said she was, she lost it, or her team was the **** and now that she just threw everyone out she's nothing :nails:

What should we do? Who can we stan for now? Hopefully someone who doesn't abandon us to be a flop country star. :neyde:

Taylor obvs. She abandoned country to be a world famous pop star that won AOTY on her first pop album and if she ever goes back to country we know she's actually good at it :diane:

Take a moment to think of just flexibility, love, and trust~

Even with snl and karaoke she needs way more promo and still wouldn't seem to be putting much effort in. She should have done the vmas, gma, apple promo, posters, talk shows and performances

The lack of live performances is incredibly disappointing. I don't care about the charts, but promote the song and album. The dive bar tour is nice, but not enough. I want this to be memorable to fans and at this point, it's not. Call ARTPOP a mess and what not, but it was memorable regardless (even for the bad reasons).
