Tbh she has what's coming to her. If joanne flops/is hated upon she has nobody to blame but herslef. What do yoh expect when she doesn't do gp friendly songs or promo? As long as the music's good who cares really?

You know really good music isn't played on the radio anyway nowadays, so I don't mind at all if Joanne enters the charts or not. 
The thing is, if the songs on Joanne are good and liked by people then they spread through GP slowly on their own but with longevity. Like they'll stumble upon those new Gaga tracks without even knowing that the voice is actually hers and that moment of surprise is worth more than any promo could achieve. It's that moment when people open their mind and sort of inhale the music without any prejudices and negative feelings. 

IMO it wasn't a bad decision to plan few promo for this era. Gaga lets the music speak for itself. If she'd be appearing on every TV on this planet with Joanne holding into the camera lenses people/media will call her fake just because they tend to so with Gaga generally. 

And still, we have got the SuperBowl. There's nothing better than that.
