Because all I see is her saying "Sanders supporters that are voting Trump are crazy," which is hardly happening. Some are, because Trump is an "outsider," but most are split among voting Hillary or a third party like Jill Stein and the younger the voter is, the higher the percentage going to a third party gets. I voted for Bernie in the Primary, and after a year of Hillary distorting his record, degrading his supporters and condescendingly telling us to "do our research," a very skewed and unfair Primary from the start with the media blacking him out and hardly taking him seriously and the release of a multitude of damning internal emails, I will never vote for Hillary. She thinks she's entitled to our votes because we voted Democrat over the Summer, but she has yet to EARN my vote and is hardly trying. Jill Stein has earned my vote. Selfish. Because I want a peaceful, un-polluted, un-corrupted country, government and world that does not abuse, use and destroy people's lives and throw them under the bus if they can't keep their heads above water? That's been the result of the policies of the last twenty+ years, and it will only continue with Hillary. Over 50% of the American population is in poverty or the "working-poor" class. A continuation of more of the same is not going to work. It will only fan the flames and produce something far worse than Trump as a response. She has to earn them and she's doing a terrible job at that. There's nobody you can blame except Hillary for not trying, the DNC for screwing over the only good candidate that could easily carry young people and independents to victory and the Media for boosting someone like Trump up to the level he is. It's not my fault because I want to exercise my Constitutionally protected right. Jill Stein actually can win. She has a mathematical path to victory in the Electoral College. Over 3/4 of the American people want another option because Trump and Clinton are equally as horrible. She and Gary Johnson are both being locked out of the debates unfairly because they are controlled by Dems and Reps and use polls that don't mention them or even sample 18-35 year olds. Clear your head and stop letting these fear mongers control your vote. I can live with a Trump Presidency, because he will not accomplish anything. He wants to be cozy with Putin, okay - at least he's not going around beating the war drum and tossing out unbased accusations of cyber-warfare against a nuclear armed Russia, or establishing a "no-fly zone" in Syria which would drag us into international conflict in the Middle East AGAIN like Hillary is. I'll take that any day over nuclear war. He may get to appoint two Supreme Court Justices, which would put us at a pre-Obama Bush SCOTUS bench. We survived eight years of Bush, and almost no social rights like those were taken away, rather they were being stripped during a 1990's Clinton Administration through DADT, DOMA, Welfare Reform, Bank Deregulation, etc. Trump is a response to corporatist neo-liberal policies like those that have thrown people under the bus, so you think 4-8 more years of the same is the answer? NO. That will only lead to the rise of something faaaaaarrrr worse than Trump. Like Pence or Cruz, people who actually have support and backing of voters, religious rightists and Establishment Republicans, leading the ticket next time. I'll take my chances, because I am investing my vote in a future I can believe in and want to see. Hillary doesn't meet my standards, hasn't and more than likely will not. Plus, I live in Tennessee, so Hillary is not and will not ever win this state, so I will vote for Jill Stein, someone that lines up with my morals and ideals over compromising them and literally "wasting my vote." I mean, like, I admire you for wanting to vote for a candidate who lines up with your morals and everything, but being third party immediately puts Jill Stein in a very unlikely position to win. When it boils down to it, it's very much a Trump vs Hillary game, and the majority of people who aren't super conservative definitely believe a democratic win, even for Hillary, who for many is far from an ideal candidate, is preferable to a Trump victory. I agree that Sanders was doomed from the get-go and really should have been given a better chance. I think it was ultimately a mistake for him not to be the democratic candidate, but I also believe it would be an even greater mistake to allow a buffoon such a Trump to lead the most powerful country in the world. You have a different opinion than I do, because you view things differently & you don't want to view them like me/others do. It's alright, because it's not like a third party is going to win & I still hope for Hillary to pull this off. And for "why" I want her to win is that she at least understands and is capable of political lies and is a real politician in them term. The other are giving of vibes like: "I can fix this country and solve all our problems, here is the plan..." but sound like they are not thinking of the FACT that they will not be capable to keep most of their promices while Clinton knows so. Sure that not my only reason for her but a main one FOR ME. But we have different opinions, so I guess it's better to leave it on that note than try to make the other understand. Sorry that they are the two most disliked and distrusted candidates to ever run. They suck. It's not my fault. It's their's. I'm voting for someone I like and that does not have controversial and scandalous baggage following behind her. So, you can keep your shaming to yourself, because you're not really helping your candidate and it's people like you that are also driving voters from her. 28 minutes ago, ryhanna said: I mean, like, I admire you for wanting to vote for a candidate who lines up with your morals and everything, but being third party immediately puts Jill Stein in a very unlikely position to win. I'm a PoliSci major, who has taken several campaign studies/classes and currently works with three. So, I'm familiar. They were in competition, but he did not lie about her or distort her record like she did about him. He didn't get petty and attack her on emails or Benghazi or attack her supporters. He didn't think to question her religion like the DNC thought to do in leaked emails. That's why I don't like her. Because she's dirty. Trump is a wolf, but Hillary is a wolf in sheep's clothing, which is just as dangerous if not more.

In this election in particular, the third party candidates are probably the best option, but because of the way the media and the electoral system work, their chances of winning are rather slim. The fate and direction of an entire country shouldn't come down to two people who are both heavily disliked. It's a very unfair system, and American citizens are the ones who will have to suffer because of it.

I wouldn't hold that against her, because then I would have to hold my father cheating on my mother against my mother which I will never do. Her record DOES consist of supporting Wall Street deregulation, NAFTA, CAFTA, TPP, DOMA, DADT, Wellfare Reform that impacted women, children and poor African Americans and Latinos, the 3 Strikes Law that directly targeted African American and brown communities and benefited the private prison industry (who now donate heavily to her campaigns), as Senator the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, expansion of the Patriot Act, as Secretary of State she sold environmentally dangerous Fracking (which benefits fossil fuel companies who also donate heavily to her campaigns) to the world, orchestrated arms and weapons sales to Saudi Arabia and Qatar who arm ISIS with them and subvert women and kill LGBTQI, pushed for the overthrow of a democratically elected government in Honduras for a murderous regime that kills its citizens and is causing an immigration crisis in Central America, the destruction of Libya, Yemen and Syria and wanting to establish a "no-fly zone" there which would lead to conflict with nuclear armed Russia. That's a record I don't support. And Jill Stein is not "quiet." She's actually a very vocal woman, the same if not more than Hillary, who has been a vocal activist for women, children, racial and environmental justice and rights. Her tone is not why I'm choosing her over Hillary. Again, it's because of Hillary's record and her in general.
