But I'm talking about this instance, like did they really have to have a white passing Cover Boy? It would have been revolutionary if it was a Cover Boy of color because it wouldn't instill the invisible societal notion of white supremacy. It's obvious they've used Cover Girls of color before, but how long did that have to happen since the inception of the brand? Why will there still be a time gap between this Cover Boy who is white passing and the one who is of color? Why do we have to wait for the progression which supposedly exists right now? There are so many questions that have should have gone through these marketers and advertisers before choosing this individual. Honestly, props to him, but they could've waited on him, especially in these times of continued misrepresentation in various forms of media

 

Don't take this as an attack, just the reasoning behind why I posted what I did
