Not we questioning the one thing she was so proud of...her imagination and creativity.

And no, i don't think the well is dry, by no means. I'm not sure if this is true, less is more isn't universal truth

That's not true about TEOG, there was a lot of variety in the performances

Maybe there was. I'm only going by my memory. It's just that, despite how much I love that song, nothing's really coming to me except that performance that looked like a recreation of the music video, with the stairs and not much else. What I mean to say is that, in my opinion, some of her songs made for more memorable performances than others. It's completely subjective, but would "Perfect Illusion" have led to diverse memorable performances? I'm not sure. Maybe it is better that we have fewer performances in this case.

How can u say that after the poor commercial performance of her first pop single in 3 years? This song has done worse then Make Me and that song dropped 18 years into Britney's career.

MEDONER

I think all she needs is a little motivation. During The Fame era (and before that as well) she would've killed (yeah I know this will start Lina Morgana jokes :saladga:) to be able to perform as much as she could. And she rocked every one of those performances tbfh.

I think that since this was Gaga's return to pop music, it would've been smart to have a lot of promo performances even if they were somewhat similar. Ariana performed Problem every where in 2014 and they were still gr8 performances because she did the routine well each time.

Gaga knows how to give a unique performance. That said, PI hasn't been performed on television once. It should've been performed on Fallon and Ellen at the very least. I think it's disrespectful to her fans to do little after we waited so long for this era.

Gaga Monster

Gaga needs as many performances as possible. Her career is basically almost done. Britney outsold her 18 years into her career

I don't tend to agree with those statements about how Gaga owes her fans this or that, but I agree with your entire post here. TV ratings show that people tune-in when Gaga makes appearances. It should be clear to Gaga that fans still care enough to pay attention to her appearances on TV by now. Ellen, at the very least, should have happened. Hopefully, she'll step up her game with the album's release.

It's not the same, but having her on SNL again will be cool at least.

I think she knows her era is stronger with the album, cause the album is solid and she didnt wanted to give away songs too fast. She was just prepping everything and creating a bit of buzz

I think she owes her fans a quality era and that includes gr8 promo performances.

I hope she steps it up album release week and after because it's one thing to make music that's not that commercial, it's another to not even try to promote it. That's just lazy.

I'm excited for SNL

One of my favourite things to do is to watch a marathon session of all or most of Gaga's live performances. I've been waiting for so long for new performances to watch. I prefer her live performances to the studio versions most of the time and I love how she used to perform different versions of her songs so no 2 performances were the same.

Myself and most people I know treated a Gaga television performance as a major event. Whatever it was it had to be watched because Gaga was on it. She was that popular that people would tune in out of curiosity.
