Had this debuted at #5 or something then fell, there's definitely little room to call it a flop. Longetivy is definitely where she is lacking though so I agree on that accord. However, the absence of longevity plagues most of her singles, not just PI. So by your definition and your definition alone, most of her songs would be considered flops other than the obvious hits. She's yet to really have a Work, Closer, Uptown Funk, We Belong Together or Single Ladies. Bad Romance and Born This Way come close, but they still pale in comparison. You could even mark, or at least asterisk, Born This Way (the album) by the way it monumentally dropped in sales the second week. I mean, BR debuted in top 10 and stayed ate #2 for 8 weeks, then dropped but still in top 10. Applause stayed 14 weeks in the top 10. I think that's really good.
