The Weeknd i preface with that because 25 did so well (sales wise) almost exclusively because 1.) the critical acclaim of 21 and because that was a sleeper album, the GP was dying to hear new Adele music, and 2.) She didn't put it up for streaming right away. Reviews were good, BUT not as good as 21. It wasn't as fresh as it could've been, so I see what the OP is saying.
