There's no way Adele is winning this one. Sales are one thing but acclaim is another, and Beyonce got a ton of it

Yuuri 21,636
Unless Joanne gets special treatment (like Lemonade), I don't see it getting nominated this year, and T.Swift, and Bruno are releasing after the date. 12 minutes ago, Yo GagaGaga said: Banana the Snake's Really? It's a really great album, I love it, it's much better than Britney Jean but it's nowhere Grammy worthy and I mean if only Toxic got her a Grammy, then nothing on this album would get her a Grammy. ‘If religion be the cause of disunity, then irreligion is surely to be preferred.’ ‘Abdu’l-Bahá

Harry 26,836
I think the whole thing of it being rotated through "pop" and "indie" every year is a complete myth. While the way the Grammys hand out awards are questionable, they're all voted for individually and privately by members of the committee. Any "pattern" must be coincidental, and if they really are picked out that way then none of us should care what wins, as it'd be more of a joke than it already is. Also the idea of that "pattern" would suggest that all music falls under either pop or indie, and I'd question both of those. If it was true then Daft Punk would be "pop", and I'd challenge that. Mumford & Songs would be "indie", and I'd challenge that. Plus this is yet another chance of monsters reaching to ridiculous lengths to ultimately disappointing. It already has a "good chance" of being AOTY when we haven't even heard it yet? Not to mention there's still a year left of releases to come to compete with it.
