Nashville Sound Issues

Honestly, I loved Gagas performance last night and the new songs, but am I the only one who noticed some sound issues? There were times where Gaga was singing, but it was really faint or you could barely hear her. Although with some of these times she was slightly turned away from the Mic, but as someone who does audio, it didn't seem like you'd be picking up that little of her? I mean it's possible she wasn't projecting enough.  There were also times where it sounded like everything would get rapidly quieter out of nowhere, then get back to its regular volume. I have a feeling it could be to avoid feedback or because of connection issues but idk. I know there have been times I've set up for an event and everything works fine during soundcheck, but issues start popping up later/ during the event, so maybe they just got unlucky. 

And at the end of Perfect Illusion (when Gaga runs back into the audience) you can hear Gaga but BARELY and then suddenly it's like her Mic got unmuted and you can hear her? I don't know if they had muted her to avoid feedback as she was near the speakers in the crowd but it was really weird. 

Did anyone else notice these? Or am I crazy?

Omg I was literally JUST talking about this on Facebook before I came to GGD!

It sounds to me like she was belting out Perfect Illusion, but her volume was down low, especially at the start, then it seemed to go up a bit, then at the end was a strange sound issue on the last note where it gets all echoey and loud. I'm assuming it has something to do with where they were, not getting to soundcheck, and avoiding feedback because the bar is a small place. I definitely heard it myself!

Yeah, I was underwhelmed with the show when I watched it because of that. But now I love it because, I mean, we have a new performance of Perfect Illusion and two songs that we can't listen anywhere but in that performance. Except in PI it's really weird.

even when gaga dropped the mic they didn't turn the volume off like you're supposed to when it does. or maybe she improvised that?

The only issues I had with songs were the volume of her voice, and after hearing PI performed, I realized it was just ****ed up. Can't wait for the real audio to blow us away

It was really sloppy imo. Out of all the 4 songs, I didn't really enjoy 3 because of the audio quality. And the forced beer ads just I mean, there are more subtle and effective ways for product placement not put the brand in our faces all the time. I hope they learn and the next shows, they polish these a bit.

Dive bar quality...and it was being translated over Facebook Live...I'm sure there would've been sound issues.

Yes. I don't understand how everybody can love A-Yo so much given the bad audio. I feel like I could barely hear her singing and when I could hear it, I had no clue what she was saying. The sound during Sinner's Prayer was better, but still not good enough for me to play the song on repeat. (Not talking about the quality of the songs, just the audio on the stream)

Yes there were sound issues but it's not like this was a professionally recorded arena show, it was at a tiny dive bar with cameras and was live streamed on facebook. Not sure anyone should expect top of the rank quality for something like that.
