Born Brave 2,072
So, Million Reasons has country listener / fan appeal. This song could dominate a weak country market at the moment. HERE'S THE PLAN. REQUEST MILLION REASONS on COUNTRY STATIONS! If airplay is garnered and it makes an impression on the country music charts, Gaga has opened up a whole new lane for marketing and promo. This will ALSO get more attention and anticipation for Joanne on a completely different front, the country music fan front. Here's how you do it: Find your local country station, email them, call them, and DEMAND that they play Million Reasons by Lady Gaga. Tell them that you heard it and that it's so good and that you feel like it deserves to be played on country radio. Who's on board???

FATCAT 60,099
If Gaga and her team don't release it to Country stations, it won't make much of a difference. This kitten over here (meow)

ctherainbow 3,162
I'm so torn, if only because I'd hate for any traction that she may be gaining with the country community to be destroyed by DJs being annoyed at getting swamped by LMs requesting. I'll have to give it some thought, a few more listens, and then decide if I'm on board. But good luck, Justin. I'm talkin' 'bout forever, baby. Not true. If a big enough market plays it, it could start a snowball effect.

juju 18,907
I'd die if she performed at the CMAs. Can y'all imagine? Spoiler As a southerner myself, I'll do my best to impact these local radios. Queen Gaga about to scalp us hillbillies like she did popfans and jazz-listeners alike. YAS ❤ x ❤

That's a pretty big if, and it will require more than just requests. This kitten over here (meow)

First of all, radio plays singles. They don't play album tracks. Secondly, requests are not relevant in deciding what songs to play for US radio. They look at call-out scores, sales, streams and big radio stations before taking requests into consideration. Thirdly, Gaga is Gaga. Country radio isn't going to play Gaga just like urban radio wouldn't. Yoü and I didn't smash on country radio. Million Reasons won't, either. Both are first and foremost pop songs made by a pop singer.
