I just can't enjoy this whole era so far, i don't like country and the stripped down Gaga. I think its time for me to move on and let go my obsession with Gaga. I admire her artistry and work during the previous albums, but i just don't recognize her anymore. She was so creative for such a long time, her black leather avant garde high fashion theatrical performances where the sh*t! Ah well, time has changed me maybe, or time changed Gaga. I don't know... When trying to figure out the bar in Nashville (since there's so many and I was expecting a Honky Tonk on Broadway from what I heard about the album), I texted a lot of friends that live there. One replied "5 Spot" with certainty and I was curious as to how he knew. He said, "Think about it. LG5 - Lady Gaga and the spot she's performing it - 5 Spot." Brilliant! That's the clever Gaga I've always known and love! I loved every thing about last night! It was perfect! Nashville and "Sinner's Prayer" was the perfect place and the song to kick it all off with! I was amazed. Don't judge a venue until you've been there and experienced the atmosphere for yourself firsthand. 5 Spot is a pretty nice place when you go with a group of friends on the weekend. It and East Nashville overall has a really great vibe. It's also places like this where she got her start, so I'm sure it's a bit of a walk down a nostalgic memory lane for her - and what better place than to debut her Country-esque musical abilities than in Music City!
