I may have been dramatic and said she's going country and I'm not emotionally stable to deal with this. I asked if she wanted to hear, because she's always liked gaga, and she loves country and rock. So i pulled up GGD, and played her MR. She shut it off a 1:34 into it. She said 'ok...she's too nasally. I don't like it. She doesn't have the voice for country.' I said just wait... it gets better I played her A-YO.. she literally snatched my phone from my hand and BOPPED! She said 'yes! I like this! This is so good! Is that her in the pink hat? Is she wearing pants? This song is soo good!' I played her SP. She said 'omg, this is good too! You don't like this?? This is better than her last album! When does this come out? Omg listen to her voice!' She then told me that gaga is the type of artist that can transcend all musical genres. She can sing them all, and she wants to be the best in all of them, and can be. I said ok mom what's your GGD user name... My mom told me if I don't like this, then don't buy it. I told her I already preordered it and she said 'well you're an idiot for buying something you haven't ever heard, but give it to me. I want this album'. Biggest demographic to buy music is actually the middle aged ones. That's why Adele's sales sky rocket. She got them oldies with their physical CD players buying.
