Change doesn't literally mean, she has to go and try to make songs in every genre. I wish she explored more subcultures of pop, you know. She could've experimented more with Kevin Parker (The Less I Know The Better) or William Orbit (Madonna's Frozen) or even Nile Rogers. I just imagined her comeback to still be true to her brand which is, pop.Beyonce reinvented herself without isolating her fans and going against her brand. Reinvention doesn't mean going into different genres, hunties.

Anyway, I still love Gaga no matter what. #Mnstr4Evr And I've already pre-ordered Joanne on US iTunes. I know I'm not going to enjoy it as much as I enjoy her other albums but I'll always be a supporter.

This reminds me when Elton said this album was her going back to her roots and everyone thought The Fame and a few joked about Red & Blue.

You couldn't be more wrong, OP, and by the way Gaga is doing Pop still, it's just organic kind, not machine.

Also let me quote on her words from recent interview with Ryan Seacrest:

"At the center of it all, it is a pop record," she explained. "I will carve it into my chest... because I don't know if people forget this about me, or if it's just the way I am, but I'm never aiming to make a pop record that is of the status quo or what's happening in music. My aim is to always be different and to push things further. Not necessarily forward or backwards, but just push them in a new direction and it always has a positive message behind it.

It's one of those things where I kind of found myself in interviews bringing myself back to the message of The Fame, because it's almost like I need to remind people that I'm not interested in making normal pop music. Everything we heard tonight was very much so pop. 

They even brought out the synth during the PI lyrics more which is more dancey than anything else. 

AYO is pretty much MANiCURE + Mary Jane Holland the remix but most don't know either song exists and I'm sure the cleaned up studio version is just as catchy. 

SP is great. Reminds me of Bloody Mary + Aura. The guitar part is where the catchy part is. Hopefully that's in the final cut. 

Million Reasons is her best ballad. And that says a lot given that ballads are usually where she's weak.

I feel the same way. I am a Gaga fan til the day I die, but it doesn't mean I have to enjoy every single album. I don't want to blindly follow her, and I don't think she'd want us to anyway. I think what she wants out of fans to support her, not necessarily love every single thing she does.

I've been a fan for 7 years. This is actually surprisingly difficult to take in, atm. I've never not enjoyed music she's put out. She changed directions in a huge way and it's been crazy to take in tonight. She's always created different music from one album to the next, but it's always remained pop in some way. I'm not even a big pop fan so it's not like that's why I like her. Gaga has been one of the few constant things in my life for 7 years and now she's going down a path musically I'm not sure I'm digging (so far), but it doesn't change how I feel about her any less. I'm not a fan of any of the songs we heard tonight besides Million Reasons and bits and pieces of AYO. But, I'm hoping that studio versions maybe have a little less twang and more instrumentals and I'm sure I'll enjoy them that way a lot more. It's also only two songs that I wasn't impressed with, so who knows. Regardless, I love Gagz and I love that she seems happy. If I'm indifferent on one album, big deal.

You're implying that the people who defend the country are forcing themselves to like it or tricking themselves into it because they're that far up gagas behind... you can pretend you meant something else but it was pretty clear as day
