Nah, Kaine did what he set out to do. People really don't vote on VPs, they don't matter as long as they are somewhat qualified. Palin hurt the McCain ticket, because people knew he had previously had cancer and Palin was a scary heartbeat away from the Presidency. Pence isn't going to fall into that category, even for the Republican leaning Independents. They are used to their candidates taking away women's and LGBT rights. Tim made the right move in attacking Trump's crazy policies and words and pointing out that even Trump's running mate doesn't agree with much of what he says.
