If I call the cops because my neighbors are making too much noise it's my fault they get in trouble, it's still their fault too, but I was responsible for pulling the trigger. Your use of the word "responsible" is way too lose. They are the trigger, but they aren't responsible for the actions they're revealing. Responsibility implies that they somehow dropped the ball and made a mistake, and that they're in charge of the cleanup. Making a mistake has nothing to do with being responsible for something. According to your definition of responsibility selling a hamburger is not related to slaughtering an animal. Being responsible for an event doesn't always mean you were completely responsible for it. And a fault is not always a mistake or a bad thing. Bebe 17,289
FFS, I'm very much hoping that was a flippant statement from Hillary and not serious. Surely she didn't believe she could get away with a drone attack against him. We can talk all we want about how Trump is worse, and I believe he is, but this is just.... Really disturbing. This isn't the greatest way to make disenfranchised progressives feel like their voices are being heard. They sound like Trump supporters when he talks about bombing the families of terrorists or something just as horrific. He can't be allowed in the white house, but at the same time I think it's important that people know this sort of stuff about Hillary. I just wish it came earlier, like in the primaries, when there was more choice.

Both are misplaced and not presidential. Yeah, I'll agree with that. It's not something you joke about. 1 hour ago, Goosey said: No, it is not worse, because he wasn't holding the same position of power and responsibility, and because of the setting in which he made those comments. He was talking up crowds at rallies and getting in the headlines with bombastic statements. Hillary was (reportedly) actually suggesting it. If a guy reads some atrocious story in the newspaper and goes "that guy should be shot!" it's totally different from the Secretary of State, during a closed-doors meeting, asking if they can make a drone strike on Julian Assange. He made that "you have to go after their families" comment while being interviewed on GMA (I think it was GMA?). It wasn't at a rally, he was asked "how do we beat ISIS?" and he suggested killing their families. That along with calling it the "good old days" when protesters were taken out on stretchers, joking about Hillary's death twice and Obama's once, I mean, if anyone is condoning violence, it's Trump. You do have a bit of a point with that second part but that point becomes moot when you consider Trump's making these same comments to this day and, should he win, he'll be in charge of the most powerful military in the world and basically be able to launch a nuke on a whim. Trump's still worse. Hillary's drowning, but Trump is so far underwater that the pressure's crushed him into a 1 inch by 1 inch cube of fake tan and bigotry.
