Neither of those quotes imply that people hate pop music or don't think of Gaga as a popstar Gaga's Instagram post also doesn't shame or address any fans that feel that way. Those quotes explicitly state that people don't want EDM/Dance-Pop. It seems people are criticising a very particular sub-genre of Pop and you are generalising. I would agree with them tbh, I'm glad Gaga is moving away from the RedOne inspired dance pop from early in her career - I want to see her evolve. But she literally just released a pop lead single, that I'm happy with, and is a pop star. She just released a Pop single, Joanne is her next pop album. She has released 4 other pop albums.
