Anyone can have a million lights, plasma screens, and props surrounding them but it doesn't become memorable for the performer unless the performer actually PERFORMS instead of lipsyncing or just being another prop in the show. Gaga has that ability (Bruno and Beyonce also had great stage presence and showmanship), so if she can harness that in the context of great effects, props, etc. or without it all, it will be received well because at the core of all the distractions is TRUE TALENT. It's like those wealthy kids at school who don't have any talents, so they showed their expensive toys so they can have some friends. I mean they were entertaining and fun, and I don't even like the performers. The audience is there for the game, if the show looks fun and has no nudity, they'll like it, they won't be analyzing everything. Stans and the press will sure be freaking out, but the audience will not As long as she plays the hits, the songs everyone knows ("Poker Face", "Bad Romance", "Born This Way"), she's fine. In fact, I low-key hope she does something "risky". Not controversial, but kinda dark... like MVAs' "Paparazzi", something exciting.
