Will The Joanne Era Be a Reverse ARTPOPian Expedition?

At the beginning of the ARTPOP Era, everyone praised Gaga and Applause (lots of monsters even said it was their favorite song by her). As the era continued to move, however, people started acting as if it was her worst and most unpleasant era. Same with the album. Everyone praised and loved it, but then acted as if were garbage just months later.

With Joanne, I feel, the reverse will/is happening. Monsters keep talking about how dissatisfied and disappointed they are with the lack of promo, and how much they hate PI (seriously, we get it, STFU), but I feel like by the time the Super Bowl comes around all they'll have for her and the album will be praise. 

What do you guys think?

I seriously agree with this. They'll complain all they want, but the second she walks on that stage at the SB, they'll "forget" about all they've said in the past.

Exactly. Ready to watch them all praise PI like they didn't just call it trash and stupid months before.

I'm so excited for Joanne as an album.  I feel like none of it may blow me away in a sudden way like Gaga's big hits but if it's as wonderful and real as Mark talks about in interviews it will become a fave.  Can't wait to listen to it on quiet nights.  Or bop to the songs that are jams.

I agree completely. At the start of the ARTPOP era everyone was here for it and it was mildly successful, but it fizzled out very quickly. I think the Joanne era will be similar to TF era in terms of momentum. It's starting out slow, but we're seeing signs that it will pick up soon (Graham Norton, Super Bowl)

I have a feeling since the album is releasing soon and the SB halftime is confirmed. The era will officially kick off around Dec. 2016 - Feb. 2017
