I'd love to have another peek at Joanne, because right now I'm partially hyped. I need a track to drop that will blow my mind and I'd love to see one with the pre-order (7th October?) I hope tonight..

This is so true! When she announced it I was pumped. I even woke up at like 3am on a day that I had work just so that I could tune into the world premiere of Perfect Illusion with everyone else. And I still do love PI - I listen to it everyday. But it doesn't feel like we are on the cusp of an album release. I'd just love to see her perform some of the songs... The campaign is so bizarre to me. If she's trying to be a "real musician" with this (as if she wasn't before) then why isn't she already on the road performing the songs?

I just want to have that experience back.

I don't know about you, but I don't want Gaga to ruin the first listen experience like she did with ARTPOP. 

We had listened to Swine, Sexxx Dreams, Venus, Do What U Want, ARTPOP, Dope demo (I Wanna Be With You), MANiCURE, half of Mary Jane Holland, 30 seconds of G.U.Y, an acoustic rendition of Gypsy, a leaked LQ version of Donatella and Applause. The first listen was kinda underwhelming, I mean, of course it was great and I was hyped af but it's way better if she doesn't tease us

 

I'm praying for a October 14th HQ leak (if it has to leak unavoidably, if not, a 20th October release - 21th in New Zealand - would be amazing) and not many promo songs. Maybe Joanne as a promo single or something (for her to do two songs on Graham Norton and other shows before the album release) but that's it.

I hope not. I don't like promo singles, it's always a waste of what could be a good single with relevant video and some airplay. And I'm hoping there are some potencial singles in Joanne.

Every time she's released promo singles before a solo album, they've done nothing but completely screw up the era. Judas/The Edge of Glory & Venus/Do What U Want messes have made me loathe her releasing promo singles. They do nothing but make the label second guess themselves.
