Start with their latest album, Currents. I love the songs New Person, Same old mistakes and Eventually the most!

I love that first one bc Rihanna covered it :toofunny:

I like The Less I know the better too

Most accurate opinionated fact on this website! Vespertine has the background clicks and ticking that keeps me living.

Vespertine is possibly maybe my favorite album ever. It's breathtaking.

Also a special mention for Vulnicura. Björk, Arca and The Haxan Cloak did a fantastic job.  And God, the strings compositions are so heartbreaking...

They say it's the last song. They don't know us, you see. It's only the last song if we let it be.

In 2004, I made my parents listen to the 'Vespertine' album while we decorated the family Christmas tree. They loved it. They are not normally into that style of music (and we usually listen to pop Christmas classics when decorating the tree, like Amy Grant, etc...). But '04 was Bjork's turn in my household!

I truly believe 'Vespertine' will be revered for generations as one of the landmark albums of sonic production. I still hear it's influences on today's music. It's not a stretch to say that no one had ever heard recorded music with that crispness and intricacy ever before it.

I'll stan it as long as I live!

It's definitely in my favorites list, but I can't pick just one album as a favorite :gaycat:. However, I can't even pick a favorite song off of that album, they're all too good! Many fans dislike "Harm Of Will," but I've been obsessed with that song for months, and the lyrics are what interest me most. And I'm glad that she returned to that sound for Vulnicura

Spoiler

I will say this though, when I heard that she was working with Arca for her album Vulnicura, I did not expect what she had released. Not to say I'm disappointed, but it definitely does not have an Arca-style production. She's working with him again for a happier next album, so I hope his production is more evident this time! :emma:

Everything is polished about this song, this is probably the only song in the entire world where I would have not changed a single thing in its production, performance or songwriting. A perfect song.

Everytime I hear the beat of this song my heart stops. While I was researching this song on Wikipedia I found out that the producer of this song first had a drum player record the beat and then MANUALLY lined up drum samples himself to make the beat twice as hard. That's f*cking dedication.

My favorite would be a toss up between Vespertine, Homogenic and Post. And all for completely different reasons.

I could never choose! I feel you. :worship2:

I never have convinced anyone I know that Björk is good :smh:. My parents like only one song: "It's Oh So Quiet," and that's only because they said it sounded "normal." They don't like her screaming, or her style, or her art, so I'm probably the only fan in my town that likes her. :toofunny:

Agreed.

Also yeah, I've discovered that it's best to listen to it at cold weather for some reason. :yay:
