I wish it was a policy in the music industry: the moment something leaks, it's automatically released on streaming services and digital stores, in order to minimize damages...or everyone could to the Beyoncé thing (which also brings it's own annoyances)...

Wellllllll Lemonade didn't leak because it was a streaming exclusive first, so if Gaga were to do thaaat.... Then no leaks, but I'd rather her not.

She will never bring the release of an album forward digitally. A single, perhaps. But no, I don't see that happening. October 21st is the legal street date and thats in stone.

It's not always her decision, Interscope/her management might push out the release early. One of my friends works in retail and says that they get albums 2 weeks early so stores would be ready for an early release.

Stores are legally obliged to sell when told to, or else they won't receive future stock from distributors and will be fined/sued.

When I said Gaga wouldn't push the release early, I said that with complete knowledge its in Interscope's hands, and they would not do that.

Probably between the 18th-20th. Seems like most albums this year leaked within their official release week; 2/3 days before their release.

And the fact that Perfect Illusion didn't leak, gets my hopes up that Joanne will leak late or not at all.

I think around a week before it's official release it will leak from it being shipped to stores
