Yes cause Britney's Make Me was such a trend setter and broke all the charts .

Just stop there isn't any formula for the success even Gaga said that she doesn't have any formula for her success ,that means that her past work was something unexpected and GP just hooked onto her music because it was good unlike now when they give it a try because they obviously listen to the radio and she had  #1 in 60 countries when PI debuted but it wasn't pleasend as Just Dance ,BR ,PF ,etc

Make Me was not a trend setter. It was following the trends. So in theory, she should have been more successful than she was but the GP just did not like the song or Britney in general. Gaga's initial sales are mostly due to monsters and not the GP. Finally, and like I already said, following trends increases chances of success but it doesn't guarantee it. There are no formulas for success but there are probabilities.

Exactly ,I was being sarcastic and you said it yourself that in theory she should have success but she didn't soo the fact is there is no formula no equations if the song is good the success is gonna come that's the only thing that's true

So you think that all "good" songs are successful? Do you think for example that the current #1 song Closer is a good song?

Don't say 'she will flop' - we don't know that. If she does, we'll all be fine as long as, like you said, the music is good (it will be), however, it's entirely possible for her to have her "Cheap Thrills" second single moment/smash ;-)

That's what she also said about ARTPOP. They went into the studio not thinking about radio or length and just wanted to record music. I think Swine was supposed to be longer or other songs as well.

Maybe not, but today within a half hour I heard PI on two different radio stations, and one of them even mentioned Gaga and the name of the song after it was played.  Heard PF on a 3rd station during that time.  Could it be Gaga is making a resurgence of sorts?
