If you take some other bands that made an impact on music like Uk acts: Massive Attakc & Portishead creators of Trip-Hop, or Nirvana and them impact on Grunge,  TB are kinda a joke for me, never liked them music, for me they are like the BackstreetBoys of their times

to be fair i only know a few songs its just that i feel they are a lil bit overrated by some people, my dad is a huge fan but he isnt that annoying, i've should put attention to them music anyway, im glad u still defending them that means that u're trully a fan

They were essentially like the Backstreet Boys/1D of their time in the very beginning, but they branched out in their later years and started to experiment and that creative period is why they are remembered and hailed as the greatest. They aren't a band I listen to often as I only like select moments from their catalogue, but they did do a lot to influence popular music, and that's really just a fact. They aren't as big as they are for no reason, I promise you.
