And most of my white friends aren't voting for him. When you look at the bigger picture, race demographics are pretty dramatic. 100% of black and hispanic votes aren't anti-Trump.

I still don't see him winning though. He definitely has a chance, but Hillary is still ahead. In terms of battleground states she seems to be a lock for Wisconsin, Michigan, and Virginia. That puts her within 31 votes of 270. And she's still leading in a good amount of states to easily pass that. According to poll averages she's also leading in Florida, Penn, and Colorado. The race will definitely be closer than expected, but I won't start freaking out until she begins to lose my state of Wisconsin and Michigan. THEN I'll get nervous. I mean, the fact that the race is within 4% in Texas says a lot about this race.

Among whites, those with college degrees favor Hillary.  Those without college degrees favor Trump.

Now, it would be easy to just conclude that lack of education makes you more gullible for Trump.  But I also think those without college degrees have more fear and uncertainty and wage pressure in their lives than people with college degrees.   And that's what's driving a lot of Trump support.

The problem is there's nothing Trump can do to make high paying secure jobs that only require a high school degree come back to this country.   Or maybe they know that, but they are so angry and desperate they are willing to risk crashing the whole country. 

Almost every time I talk to a Trump supporter, their support comes down to anger.  But when you try to pin down what is making them angry, it's something that isn't real (like immigrant terrorists), or is something Trump can't do anything about anyway.    (Or something they won't admit openly, like racism, sexism, or bigotry)

The voters weren't "given" anything. They voted to have these two people their nominees. If they didn't vote in the primaries, that is their problem. 

You will learn one day that you don't get what you want every election cycle. Democracy doesn't work only when it goes your way. Sometimes people get in office that you are going to find to be unacceptable, but there were more voters that felt differently than you did.

Are you kidding me right now? This isn't a "you win some you lose some" situation. Clinton can't win against a racist, bigoted billionaire that is a fraud, and an absolute moron at that. He's insulted everyone, and you want to say that it's not Clinton or the DNC's fault that they put the ONLY person up for nomination that could lose to him? Whether you like to admit it or not, there's heavy evidence that the DNC worked in tandem with Clinton to rig the nomination, and they've doomed us all.

The same people, who are coming out of the woodwork for Trump, would still be doing so. The same Republicans would be falling in line. The same people who are looking for a complete change from Democrats would be voting for Trump. The same racists, who are energized for the first time in decades, would be out in full force. The same "us against them" (think Brexit vote) wave that we see in Europe and also in the US would be gaining ground.

I know you don't want to believe this can be the case...I don't want to believe it, but there are disturbing and unsettling factors here that we are seeing.

A racist, bigoted billionaire that can do and say anything and still the Republicans vote for him and the most bigoted in society are coming out to vote for. That same bigot that easily knocked out 15 other Republican candidates, with organized ground games, millions of dollars in ad money and support from every Republican resource available. 

The DNC didn't elect Clinton. The millions of voters did. The election wasn't rigged, it followed the same guidelines it has followed for decades of elections. Hillary won the popular vote and the delegate state vote, actually by more than Obama best her in 2008. Your guy got less votes. He lost the nomination.
