This rant applies to me as much as anyone, before anyone wants to attack me on that score.

People are taking ever more extreme positions on PI and Gaga as this era continues because everyone is trying to one up each other in arguments.  It's degenerated past any reasonable discussion about PI into personal attacks against each other and ever more negative slams against Gaga herself. 

congratulations, you've turned GGD into an internecine Stan war between different factions of Gaga stans. You've brought the cesspool home. 

Everybody needs to step back and think about what they are doing. Anyone incapable of acting in a rationale manner and ignoring troll attempts from both sides should probably consider logging off for a while. 

Gaga is a unique artist with motivations and aspirations that don't match the typical Pop star. Some of you aren't going to like every direction she takes. That doesn't mean you need to belittle Gaga or those that do like it. Those trying to protect Gagas direction are not entitled to denigrate and belittle those that don't, or piss on Gagas early eras to make the new one superior. 

Neither side is superior, and neither side is more intelligent or more musically sophisticated.  Music is subjective. 

In theory we all support Gaga. Right now all we are doing is increasing the negative energy around her. Is that really what you want to do?

Think before you speak and maybe this can be a place of honest civil discussion.  Or you can make it the place tabloids go to get ideas for negative blog articles.  Your choice.

I agree ppl should just have their own feeling for the song and not worry about imposing that on others or like disagreeing with how others feel about the song. But it's like... if you REALLY hate it why even be on here right now all you contribute is negativity. Ppl should let go of their conception of her And just embrace what is real in the present. and little managers especially should retire and find a new act to manage lol

This place is a mess right now, I don't even want to come here because it's just filled with hate from both parts, while I honestly think that those shitting on Gaga's current direction are the worst ones making hundreds of threads about their complaints, filling with negativity every discussion, the other part needs to learn how to accept criticism of Gaga's work.

For example, I love PI and this era so much, I say it pretty much on every thread lol. But I can't disagree with people saying the song is repetitive, I've seen a lot of discussions about that because members can't accept that fact, and they use personal attacks for that stupid reason, which it's awful too.

I think we both want the best for Gaga. I think the biggest part of the problem occurs because some monsters want to silence those who did not like the single. I believe everyone has the right to express their views on whatever.   The problem in all this discussion on PI and the album's direction is that people have taken the criticism to personal and that's ot the point. Do you like PI? That's ok. You didn't like? That's ok too.  Everyone has the right to express their preferences. We must live with the diversity of opinions.
