No you don't and you also don't have to spread your hate here so please stop.

I'm just simply expressing how ridiculous this thread is. Yes she is a legend, or one in the making, but not because she has these people as good friends. That is kinda ridiculous.

Please correct me if I make any grammar mistakes, I want to master English as much as possible.

Everyone knows mylie sirus. Does that makes her a legend?

Actually yes. 5 number one albums? One of the biggest shows of all time? Broke the vevo record 2 or 3 times, most tweeted about event in history, Highest selling child artist of all time, I could go on

You picked an extremely hateful and offensive way to make your point. The very core of what you said is disrespectful to Gaga, her music, and well just disrespectful in general.

It's my opinion. It is more ridiculous to be negative and hateful on every single thread people make.

Do you people even know what a legend is? It's not someone who achieves great success only, it's someone who endures the test of time and who contributes heavily to society in some way.

I'd say Gaga is still a legend in the making because she's still in her 30s, didn't yet reach 10 years into her mainstream career and her popularity is waning. I'd say it's a stretch to call her a legend, she's more like a modern superstar now. Give her time. It's not up to us to decide.

I don't consider her a legend right now, but she is a legend in the making and will be remembered for changing the music industry.

But she is definetely not a flop, she has achieved a lot in a really short period of time

By the way, all this "legend" talk is a perfect example of what makes her feel dehumanized and uncomfortabe next to her hardcore fans and worshipers.

She doesn't want to be a legend, a goddess, an angel for anybody and definitely doesn't want to be treated as such. In this new album cycle she focused on her "father and mother's daughter", "sister's sister" side exactly because she's done with being a celebrity. She's okay with being just an artist.

the elders love her more than the same age artists/singers

This!! I've always noticed that all other famous popstars are always friends with other same age celebrities but Gaga gets along with the older generations so much better lol. I remember she used to say she was born in the wrong decade and I think it really shows.

Do you think Gaga will make it?

This thread was against all the haters who say Gaga flopped. And I think I'm not as hardcore as standing 24/7 in front of her apartment for a picture and these people still get invited to a pre-listening party, so..

Why do I need to educate myself about it? Without Gaga gay culture wouldn't have the impact it has now. Was she the first? No, I've never said that, but okay.

Was she one of the first modern musicians to do so? Yes. Did everybody tried to gain gay support after seeing her succeed with it? Yes. And she didn't "latch" into gay culture, she embraced it.

No child, so much ****ing no. She was farrrrr from the first modern artist to do it. And gay culture was made by US gays, Gaga absolutely latched onto it/was inspired by it. You are so ignorant its hilarious. Seriously do educate yourself. Learn about stonewall. Learn about drag ball culture. Learn about Andy Warhol, learn about Keith Haring, learn about the culture that grew out of the Rocky Horror Show, learn about Bette Middler performing in bath houses, there is SOOOO much that happened before Gaga that she just jumped onto the tail end of. Watch Madonnas Truth or Dare. Watch Priscella Queen of the Desert. Watch To Wong Foo, watch Milk, watch Cabaret, watch the Boys in the Band, watch Parting Ways, watch Hedwig and the Angry Inch.... I could go on and on. Gay culture was made by gays.

Okay, I thought you were done talking to me. If you think I'm childish because Gaga is a legend in my opinion, then you should check your ego.
