Is it considered delusional to ignore any negative towards Gaga?

Is it delusional to keep thinking to oneself that everyone loves your fav and everything they do is well-received, or is it better to accept the fact that they still have a considerable amount of detractors? After all, would it affect one's experience as a fan? Do you even care if someone says something negative about Gaga?

Filtering out isnt. Actively believing there are absolutely no negatives is.

It is.

No. I say negative things, too.

Girl, Gaga used to be one of the most stigmatized artists on the planet, not to mention the hate she received in conservative countries/communities. :madge:

That being said, I totally see the negatives myself. But it's usually to do with practicality and her seeming to ignore the guidance of more experienced peers or even agreeing with some basic stuff her record labels says, instead of going out on a limb and breaking her hip along the way :madge:

It's not delusional to 'ignore' any negativity towards Gaga like the title asks, it's probably a smart thing to ignore negativity :smh: It is delusional to think that such negativity doesn't exist, of course it does, but I can't think of who that could apply to tbh.

I like the PI music video, I'm aware there are going to be plenty of fans/people that don't. That's cool, but I'm not going to enter some argument about the merits of the video, I'm not going to read pages and pages of people expressing their distaste for a video that I like, I'm just going to do my thing and continue to enjoy the video.

Disagree, you need to start fights in the comment section for more views and keeping the haters on the edge of their seat. :sis:

That being said, it's not delusional to not engage in any negativity but it sure is to assume that there's no negativity at all. Also look at the dislikes on the video right now. They're SUCH a small amount of people. 161,000 positive people against 9,000 party poopers. That's one of the major flaws of humans, we're almost on the edge of our seat and are WAITING for that one negative reply to ruin our day. But we don't have to be like that.

I think ignoring the negativity is the best thing you can do if you enjoy the song, or at least that's what I do. It completely ruins the experience.

It's like being in a party where you are having the time of your life and there's people constantly saying ''this party sucks'' ''this is boring'' ''I want to leave''. So what do I do? I ignore them, I walk away, and I keep dancing. :gaycat:

I am completely aware that there are very negative comments about Gaga, but they have always been there and she will never please everybody. I know that she's very happy, and I love the song, the cover, the album cover, and I am completely excited for Joanne, and nothing else matters for me.

Listening to music without thinking about what people has to say about it or thinking about how is it going to chart is amazing.

It's delusional to think that some of the negatives have no ground. Gaga and people in her team do cock up, it's fine to acknowledge it rather than say it was purposely done because "art." :rip:

I don't have an issue with what people say. It's more how they say it. If they don't like something, fine. But don't shove it down people's throats.
