hear me out, this is the last negative sounding post about gagadaily. i love this site, which is why im trying to voice myself....i feel we all need to have an open discussion about reforming this thread or.....

I know this is gonna seem shady but im so serious

I believe we should do something for gaga, we should create a website to just praise and analyze and predict her art. something that takes what she gives us, and we expand on it not destroy it. not saying i wanna outdo this forum, cause a forum wont make it happen.

Lets create a space free of sales talks and chart success and anxiety for her to be the ruler of the world. 

she wants this so much. and we should show her we support her mission of changing the fan culture. 

I just saw this forum close down a thread where we speak openly about moderation and yet theres stil some forums open that is like "guys i hate how PI isnt a success, like I want her to recreate bad romance, why isnt she number 1? is beyonce and rihanna just better than her? guys is gagas career over? omg is PI indicative of Joanne because She needs this to be a success."

I dont understand it lol. 

So before they close this thread down orr ban me, i wanted to plant the seed for whoever wants to be a fan and not a stanand if you read this, and you cant stop and say "yeah i wanna support her art and help her end this negative fan culture than preys on artists" then i will just find other people to help me make a site like little monsters but better. cause she tried to do what im talking about with that but it went bad too lol.

or maybe there should be a way to boost positive threads about her art and positive feed back and constructive feedback and opinionsand just bury the threads that destroy her efforts. because yes freedom of speech is good but if youre just trying to diminish her efforts then why even speak?

This sounds like a good idea but it ruins freedom of speech and ultimately makes one big lie just for what? To make it seem like we're better people? No thanks. 

And before anyone attacks me, I love PI and haven't complained about it or dedicated a thread to bash it. It just sounds wrong though to act like negative criticism isn't real or important in the long run.

Gaga is smart enough, and those that keep disliking her new products will end up leaving, it's a fact. There's no point at being here when you don't like what the artist is doing. They can leave and come back when they see Gaga has done something for their taste. They're even hating on her when only ONE song from the album has been released, I didn't like Applause at the very first moment, but I still liked the whole album and era and I'm still here.

negative criticism : PI is a failure because its not number 1 and the wrld isnt obsessed

Opinion and freedom of speech: I dont like PI because i feel it could have been blah blah blah

youre literally going against an idea of creating a space of love? how is that bad? f anyone wants to spread negativity they can come here and create a thread. gaga deserves a virtual museum of people there for her art.

I have never gone to a museum and been like OMG this painting would never be liked my by mom or my the president. Omg this sculpture is soooo stupid. I go to a museum to view art and analyze. 

we need to learn how to be aware of things that dont help in the long run, like saying PI is a dumb single release. that automatically is someone ignoring the art and putting superficial things like a position on the charts in front of the music. gaga didnt write joanne thinking....what is gonna be a single?...... she just made music and was happy she will sing it to us.

Opinion: I wonder if she altered her face to look like joanne? maybe she was bored? either way I like her looking natural ( or i looooooooove it)

Well news flash this isn't a museum. If you want to make a site dedicated to positivity be my guest, I'm not here to tell you you're wrong or that you can't. But this is GagaDaily, and people are allowed to say virtually anything they want if they play their cards right. And again I'm not saying that's something good, and I'm not saying I wouldn't like a more positive place to spend time on, but maybe we should wait it out. People on here that completely bash her for stupid reasons will either leave or change their minds.

i dont see why her fans arent open minded enough to at least consider how it could be done to eliminate the negativity. im just trying to be proactive because they wont leave. they will come back. the new fans who dont get her lol. Why do you come and shut down my idea in a heartbeat without at least trying to give a suggestion as to how we can improve this situation? and i know this isnt a museum lmfao thats why i said lets try to make it one lmfao. I dunno, gagadaily wasnt like this. and maybe its the way the layout is created or how everything is displayed butif i search on google for "gaga" the first thing youll see is something related to lady gaga.

gaga daily has been me searching gaga and getting a the first search result being a post from facebook five years ago  of someone saying "goo goo gaga" lol 

all im saying is it needs to be reimagined because i support her visions of love. and art and music. and it really saddens me to see everyone be okay with constant immature comments. its just dangerous. you can squeeze all the toothpaste out of a toothpaste tube but youll never be able to put it all back in. and words are like that. and if youre not trying to make things better, and youre okay with how it is, then okay. but i believe in improving things. and i just wanted to see if anyone agreed. and i guess not. lol sorry i tried...

yas totally. thanks for your input. gaga may be over what we think, but i still think we can try to help her in changing fandom. not just her fandom but fandom in general. it destroys the art , be it music , tv shows, or movies. i can tell you that i didnt like a shirt you made for me because of xyz, or i could say omg this is disgusting, wtf is this? youve made better shirts omg what a fail. one way of deliverance will make you sy ok, and the other will make you be like omg i suck at life.

I know this kind of thing is done with good intentions and I appreciate that, but I'm just going to be honest here. I think trying to block out "negativity" is silly. Negativity is a byproduct of people wanting different things. Diversity of views is important, even if you don't agree with them or they seem harsh. 

There are always going to be people who crave some success or commercialism or more straight up pop, there are always going to be people who want Gaga to be as artistically in control and free to explore as possible, and people who want a degree of both. And a small bracket of those people are going to bitch when they don't get what they want. Or be too critical. It's what people do. 

Criticism ultimately stems back to differing opinions. I don't truly believe that anyone hates a song because it's not charting well - they dislike it because they wanted the kind of music from Gaga that does chart well. The kind that she made in the beginning of her career. They want pure pop that fits with what's on the radio. There's nothing wrong with wanting that, it just so happens that it's not the music Gaga's setting out to create.

What I'm trying to say is, that while I think it's very kind of you to want to offer a space like that, we live in a world filled with billions of people who all think and want different things, and you can't censor what a certain portion of people feel just because it's "not positive enough." The internet/life in general is never going to be an ultra positive utopia. It's better to learn to just live with the thorn in your side than to attempt blocking it completely.
