Sia's Radio Rappers

Sia uses rappers to get hits now.

I fell in love with the album version of cheap thrills and it was always such a chore getting through Sean on the radio.  Now after becoming used to the video version of The Greatest I am subjected to Kendrick.  These are talented and respectable artists of course, but what are they doing in my Sia?

Anyway, opinions will differ, so vote on the poll.  Do you prefer her with or without the help from these men?

I prefer Sia before she was a sellout sorryyyyy. 

 

I still love her though. My second fave. Such a strong and kind woman. Just go back to making music that's not basic

There are differences between having a rapper on the original version of the song and a rapper on a remix made for radio.

I accept the original rappers.

I hate remixes where they add rappers for the radio version.

She really is my second fave now too.  Kind of awkward her coming with The Greatest after PI is announced  But I can enjoy my faves at the same time

Tbt to when Gaga relied on rappers to be famous circa 2012.

Just kidding, just because songs include rappers doesn't mean they're sellouts. Maybe they really like them and want them on their track. But almost every stan thinks these things are fame and success driven like friendship and liking other's work isn't a thing once you become famous. (This isn't an attack on the OP btw).

Oh yASS Nicky Jam is an amazing rapper. He destroyed Cheap Thrills.

Seriously, she is better singing alone. Rap collabs with pop artists always make them look like they're coming for the promo. See Make Me for example. And dont say DWUW because R Kelly was actually bad promo for Gaga.

I love Sia but I got used to Cheap Thrills by the time they decided to release that remix featuring Sean Paul, which bothered me. I like Kendrick's voice, he kind of sounds good on The Greatest. I wouldn't mind if she never uses another rapper's voice on her songs again because I enjoy it as they are. But I guess it's Sia just having fun right now, she deserves the success.
