You have the music, you have the bling. Those two factors of the contemporary music industry go hand in hand in general. But on an individual level, you can ask yourself which aspect is more important for you. As a Gaga fan, I can only embrace the music part. So, don't get me wrong. I truly understand that you're all excited when a new single drops. How will it perform on the charts? Will it get many streams? How many times will it be bought? BUT the amount of the threads about this subject on the website is unbelievable. I've seen so many topics about "chart results", "streams", "views", "sale numbers", that I was wondering... Do you guys even have the time to enjoy "Perfect Illusion"? All those theories about the song... Will it be a huge success? Or "Why Perfect Illusion is going to flop". Why would you even worry about that? I mean, by the end of the day the whole point is that YOU should enjoy (or not) Perfect Illusion (or whatever other song). Why would you care about the general public and its opinion? Isn't it all about your personal experience with the song? A settled artist like Gaga will always sell, no matter what she releases. I think it's better to stop with those "streaming parties" and endless topics about "the latest chart performances". Go listening to the music, don't care about the bling! Love you all, guys!
