Why does GGD shame people for having an opinion?

Legit every time someone makes a thread asking "Where do you think PI will debut?" or something like that, there is undoubtedly a comment saying "stop caring about the charts, gaga doesnt care so why do you, you dont support her making music she wants you just care about charts" etc. 

The thing that makes me the most furious is, the person isnt saying "PI will flop, Joanne is a trash era" no... they usually have no negative motivation and even put "no shade" or "I like PI but..." in the title, and people will still come after them.

And finally, what the **** is wrong with people wanting a successful Gaga era? Does that make you a bad fan? No, I personally want Gaga to have 1B views Lead single, topping the charts for 5 weeks. It IS disheartening for some monsters to see the queen of charts with 3 platinum singles and once the queen of media itself to debut in the top 20, with barely any radios playing her new "dance anthem" even the day of the release, while other trash acts like the Chainsmokers ruling the charts.

 

 

And people saying they want pop-gaga back, only to have people come for them saying "Are you really a gaga stan? Shes going in a new direction and you cant be happy? She's evolving as an artist."

Ive never wanted to slap someone behind the screen more... there are THOUSANDS of fans that fell in love with the old iconic Dark gaga that released hit after hit, shocked masses with her performances... this is someone that CHANGED THE POP INDUSTRY, so please do NOT come for people that want them back. If you were a fan of Adele and she started going into the bubblegum pop genre, would you be dissapointed even though she is "evolving as an artist, its what she wants to do?" And this doesnt mean we dont support gaga evolving as an artist, we are simply stating the opinion that we would prefer the old gaga. Its not a sin to have an opinion.

 

And now time to wait for the commenters saying "You're one of the pressed stans" or "Go stan for Katy if you want pop" please gtfo of my thread. Please just stop hating people for having their own opinion on this new Gaga era, its something different and dont expect everyone to be happy, this doesnt mean we dont support Gaga. Some of you seem to forget that gaga is a popstar, and most of her fans are looking for a popstar to stan for.

I am a fan since the begining, I've lived her hits, and I couldnt be happier with PI because I know my girl is now making the music she loves and I dont care about the charts because Gaga is already one of the biggest icons in music EVER. Do you know when was the last time Bowie or Prince had a top 10 on the hot100? 15 years ago or so. So I dont care. I know im a fan and that I'll buy her music. Did you see Madonna over after Erotica's or Bedtime Stories' flop? No. Gaga has built a fanbase to make sure we will be there to support her, she doesnt need to sell 10 million records if she has fans all over the world that will attend her tours where all the good money is made. People really need to learn a lot about music bussiness to be worried about charts and sales. And they can have an opinion, but one can have a better opinion when they actually know a bit more from what theyre talking about.

I couldn't agree more! People continuously try to make me feel bad about having an opinion or a different belief on something Gaga does. Jay z said it best, you have to get that dirt off your shoulders

You know, you should investigate the people who are bothering you and start following them around the internet and let them know how you feel. 

Honestly, I do it all the time, and TRUST ME, bitc hes back the fu ck off! lol 

This one chick one time started trolling me on Facebook, talking about how Gaga is a fake, pretentious, blah blah effing blah, so I made sure she and her family knew that I was NOT going to put up with that ****. I even found out who her boss was!

Everyone has a right to their own opinion, you're entitled to think what you want to think.

That said here goes mine—I can already see people coming for me now—Gaga is an evolving artist, and of course we want her to be successful, but the thing is, when people seem to overly care about the charts and say "WHY ISN'T PI DOING BETTER?!" or "WHY IS SHE ONLY #XX ON THE CHARTS?!", then that's when someone like me gets annoyed.

Speaking from a business and speaking from management's perspective, of course they want her to do well. It's a business, but Gaga herself has stated numerous times that charts are not necessarily her concern. When we've waited so long her new music, and it just gets teared up by people who only want to see #1's and "Best Selling Singles", it's disappointing.

And like I said in the beginning, Gaga is always an evolving artist. I mean, would you expect the same girl who sang Just Dance to be the same girl who made an entire album with Tony Bennett? No, you wouldn't.

That wasn't a low quality comment. My point was there's a problem with you when you meltdown like that over an internet thing, especially that everything  here is anonymous and nothing is personal. I would understand the meltdown if you got disrespected in your personal social media account bc it's the real you who got attacked, but a meltdown here? Yikes.
